To Generate Outbound Partner Profile in Client 800 (Sending System),

Login to Client - 800:

Enter the transaction code WE20 in the command field to deal with the Partner Profiles and press Enter.

Outbound Partner Profile: It specifies the Partner (Receiving System, to which we are
transffering the data), Message type (Which message we are going to transfer), IDOC type (Mention the respective IDOC type to transfer data), Port (The medium by which communication IDOC will transfer to database) etc

Select Partner Type LS (Logical System) from left panel of Partner and then click on Create icon as shown in the above screen.

Maintain the following field values on the respective screen fields of above screen: Partner No. : LOG_SYS810 (Destination Logical System name)

Press F4 on the field Type to select the Organizational Unit as shown in above screen.

Double click on the Object Type, User and click on

Maintain the following field values on the respective screen fields of above screen: Partner No. Partner Type Type Agent Language : : : : : LOG_SYS810 (Destination Logical System name) LS (Logical System) User SAPUSER EN button from standard tool bar, to save the Partner Profile details.

Now click on Save

After saving the Partner profile details, the above message will appear on the status bar, which describes that the partner profile details was saved.

Click on Create Outbound Parameter details.

Maintain the value in Message type field as MATMAS (Built-In Message Type for Material Master Data) and in Outbound Options tab button, press F4 on Receiver port field to select the port number, which has been created earlier with the help of WE21 transaction code.

Double click on Port number A000000059 as shown in the above screen.

Maintain the following field values on the respective screen fields of above screen: Message Type : Receiver Port : MATMAS (Material Master Data) A000000059

Transfer IDOC Immediately Basic Type : MATMAS05 (Built-In IDOC type to transfer Material Master Data) button from standard tool bar, to save the Outbound Parameter details of

Now click on Save Partner Profile.

After saving the Outbound Partner Profile details, the above message will appear on the status bar, which describes that the Outbound Parameter details of partner profile was saved. Then click on Back button from standard tool bar.

From the above screen we can observe the created Outbound Parameter details.

To Generate Inbound Partner Profile in Client 810 (Receiving System),

Login to Client - 810:

Enter the transaction code WE20 in the command field to deal with the Partner Profiles and press Enter.

Inbound Parnet Profile: It contains the Process code to which an Inbound Function module
is attached which receives the Communication IDOC and converts it to Master IDOC and then converts Master IDOC to an Application Document and stores in database of SAP R/3 system.

Select Partner Type LS (Logical System) from left panel of Partner and then click on Create icon as shown in the above screen.

Now click on Save

Maintain the following field values on the respective screen fields of above screen: Message Type : Process Code : MATMAS (Material Master Data) MATM (Built-In process code for Material Master Data) button from standard tool bar, to save the Inbound Parameter details of

Now click on Save Partner Profile.

After saving the Inbound Partner Profile details, the above message will appear on the status bar, which describes that the Inbound Parameter details of partner profile was saved. Then click on Back button from standard tool bar.

From the above screen we can observe the created Inbound Parameter details.

To Send Material details of Material Number M444 from Client 800

(Sending system) to Client - 810 (Receiving System), Login to Client -800

Enter the transaction code BD10 in the command field, to send the Material from Client 800 to Client 810 and press Enter.

Maintain the following field values on the respective screen fields of above screen: Material : M444 (Material Number, Which is going to transfer to Client 810) MATMAS LOG_SYS810 (To which logical system, we are going to transfer the

Message Type : Logical System : material)

Now click on Execute button from application tool bar or press F8 function key, to transfer the material details of M444 to Client 810.

From the above screen of Information message, we can observe that one Master IDOC set up for message type MATMAS has been done successfully. Click on button as shown in the above screen.

From the above screen of Information message, we can observe that one Communication IDOC generated for message type MATMAS has been done successfully.

Click on button as shown in the above screen.

To check the IDOC Status in Sending System, Login to Client 800:

Enter the transaction code WE02 / WE05 in the command field to check the IDOC status in sending system of Client 800 and press Enter.

Now click on Execute button from application tool bar or press F8 function key, to check the IDOC status in sending system of Client 800.

Double click on the IDOC number, which was generated by system automatically for the message type MATMAS.

From the above screen we can observe the three records of an IDOC number. I.e. Data, Control and Status Records of an IDOC generated.

In status record the status number 03 describes that the IDOC has been sent to receiving system successfully.

To check the IDOC Status in Receiving System, Login to Client 810:

Enter the transaction code WE02 / WE05 in the command field to check the IDOC status in receiving system of Client 810 and press Enter.

Now click on Execute button from application tool bar or press F8 function key, to check the IDOC status in receiving system of Client 810.

From the above screen we can observe the three records of an IDOC number. I.e. Data, Control and Status Records of a receiving system IDOC generated. In status record the status number 53 describes that the IDOC has been received from sending system successfully and that has been transferred to database.

Login to Client 810 to check the Material Number M444 Details, which we have transferred from Client 800 with the help of IDOC processing:

Enter the transaction code SE16N in the command field to go with the General Table Display screen and press Enter.

Maintain the following field values on the respective screen fields of above screen: Table Material : : MARA (Contains General Material Data Details) M444 (Material Number, to see the corresponding details)

Now click on Online button from standard tool bar or press F8 function key, to see the details of material number M444.

From the above screen we can observe the transferred material details of material number M444 from Client 800 to Client 810.
