Sarah is having tea with her mother in the kitchen. Suddenly, the doorbell rings. She opens the door. There is a big, furry, stripy tiger. It walks into the kitchen and sits down at the table. Sarahs mother says, Would you like to join us? The tiger says, Certainly. Then, he swallows all the sandwiches in one big mouthful. Then, he swallows all the buns and after that he eats all the biscuits and all the cake. Sarahs mother says Would you like a drink? The tiger says, Oh, yes. Thank you! Then, he drinks all the tea in the teapot, all the milk, all the orange juice, and all the water. Then, he is going home. A few minutes later, Sarahs daddy comes home. Sarahs mother says that they have nothing left for his supper because the tiger ate all the food. Sarahs father says, I have a good idea! We will put our coats on and go to a caf.
