Self Realisation at USJ Schools

Lee Yin, Aimee, Mahesh and myself; went to USJ 4 primary school recently to conduct a self realization program to the school children. A total of 800 school children from Standard 1 to Standard 5 attended the Sahaja Yoga music therapy and about 20 teachers were also present. I brought along 5 basins so only 5 teachers had a chance to experience footsoaking which they enjoyed very much. Hopefully we will be able to conduct another sesssion like this for Standard 6 children after their exams. Contributed by Ching Hooi

The program at SMK USJ 13 was on the 8th of Sept from 10.30am to 11.30 am for Form III students with few teachers. A total 50 from Form III and 14 from Form IV attended. We started it off with short introduction of our subtle system by Mahesh. Then I took over to have a brief talk about music and its relationship with our subtle system and the challenges that we are face everyday will affect our 7 energy centres and our channels. Since the energy centres are connected to the different organs, any hindrance in their functioning will create physical, emotional and mental inbalance within us. Music can produce different effects such as heating, cooling and soothing and the frequency of the musical notes can match and fine tune the energy centres.

We did the 4 steps of breathing exercise followed by singing A.U.M, then notes for left heart and with right hand on the left heart, then the combination notes for agnya and lastly on the Sahasrara. Lee Yin taught the students to raise Kundalini and bandhan, followed by the instruction how to footsoak by Adrian. Then we all meditated for a short while. After that Ai Mee spent some time talking to the Form IV students. Contributed by Ching Hooi

The workshop at SKM USJ 4 was held on the 10th Aug. We started at 9 am and finish slightly after 10 am. We started off with SR through music, taught the students how to raise Kundalini, do bandhan, footsoaking and meditate. We did breathing exercises to calm the students down. A.U.M to balance and clear their channels followed by meditation. Many felt the Kundalini being awaken at their Saharara after SR through music. After the short meditation, Mahesh gave a brief talk about the subtle system and its quality. Adrian then explained to them about footsoaking and Lee Yin guided them to raise kundalini and bandhan. Only 26 people got the taste of footsoaking and they enjoyed it. 60 students and 3 teachers got their Self Realization. Ken and Loh also came to support the workshop. Contributed by Ching Hooi
