The NICE Frame is the first design we have come up with that provides a radically better carry than a well-fit and wellpacked Mystery Ranch internal frame. A thoughtful redesign of the interface between the user and the load led to the idea of building in pre-programmed flex to an ultra stable platform in a manner that has produced a level of performance never thought possible with extremely heavy loads. The result is a comfortable and flexible frame system capable of controlling huge loads while remaining low-profile and unobtrusive with light loads. Five different styles of packbag completes the NICE Frame System, creating a true pack system that is capable of hauling any load you might encounter
COmm3 system
The COMM3 system is Mystery Ranchs new modular communicators pack system. A modular version of our COMM2 System can be carried together on the NICE frame or on their own. The main radio compartment secures the PRC117F or G variants, PRC119F, 152s or ASIP radios and can be carried alone with its built-in shoulder straps. The removable laptop bag holds a Toughbook19 and has cable storage and ports for running cabling to the radio. Sustainment gear is handled with the Hitchhiker and Daypack lid -both with shoulders straps to carry separately. The whole system is mounted on the NICE BVS frame for stability with body armor. The modular NICE COMM3 system is ready to adapt to your changing missions.
3 day assault Bvs

This pack has all of the same great features of the standard 3 Day Assault with the addition of our removable Bolstered Ventilation and Stability (BVS) system (patent pending). This system was designed to give more stability to a pack when worn with body armor. The Nice Wolfpack System is a versatile pack system that can be set up in multiple configurations . At 4200 cubic inches the NICE Wolfpack Alphas volume is ideal for patrol missions but will expand to 6100 cubic inches with the addition of the Nice Wolf Pack Pup for five day recon missions. A classic top loading design with dual draw cord shroud increases weather resistance and allows for upward expansion. For the mission critical load this recon style bag is designed around the 117 radio. The Alpha Pack on a NICE Frame is stable, tough and easy to use. The Patrol Position leaves the Alpha at shoulder height with plenty of head clearance. The Alpha has a built in slab pocket for a radio or other heavy gear, with easy control and antenna access.

The NICE Overload is the Mystery Ranch solution for carrying mortar systems and ammo cans yet still having a simple patrol sized pack available for the mission. This specially designed pack contains a hidden load bearing sling between the packbag and the frame. (pat. pending) The hidden slings location insures that heavy items are placed in the optimal location for transferring the load to the users back.

mystery CinCh
Packs and body armor a painful combination. Typically, the packs shoulder pads slide off the armor and cut into your armpits, causing them to chafe and bleed. Over time this can even cause permanent nerve damage. The pack can flop around, and the chest strap on many packs can interfere and tangle with your tactical loadout. The designers at Mystery Ranch have created a solution adding a modular cinch strap to the front of your IBA, MTV or other body armor. The Mystery Cinch reroutes the shoulder pads of your pack down the front of your armor keeping the shoulder pads from cutting into your armpits.

The Mobile Defensive Fighting Position (MDFP) is designed to provide troops in hostile environments and entry control points with an area of maximum safety and full visibility. When standing behind an MDFP, personnel are protected from head to toe with armor that defeats a range of ballistics from 9mm to 30-06 Armor-Piercing rounds, including 5.56mm and 7.62 NATO rounds. Constructed of durable, anti-corrosion, powder-coated and finished armor and a transparent armor window, MDFPs are an effective tool for instantly hardening any location. The units are instantly deployable and can be disassembled in a matter of minutes without the use of tools - no engineers or architects required. MDFPs are fitted with either lag plates for stability, casters for movement on improved surfaces such as concrete or carpet, or filled ATV-style tires for movement on unimproved surfaces such as grass or gravel, and can be easily moved across any surface by a single officer. The units are mobile under fire and can be used to cover and remove injured persons from the scene of a conflict. Optional gun ports provide a safe area from which troops can return fire. Superior protection from a lightweight design The Handheld Riot Shield (NBS) is designed for use in corrections and law enforcement applications. Particularly effective for crowd and riot control, the NBS is lightweight, shatter resistant and capable of withstanding impacts from bricks, bottles, splash and rocks. The LaRue OBR (Optimized Battle Rifle) was built from the ground up, using a newly designed upper-receiver platform, combined with a lower, inspired from our successful 5.56 MM lower. Both the upper and lower are CNC-machined from billet, for the optimum fit and consistency. Machined from billet 7075-T6, the receiver components are designed with more material in critical areas to alleviate known issues of weakness in 7.62 platforms and to stiffen the receiver....translating into maximum accuracy. The upper-rail provides generous room for all issue weapon-mounted night-vision day/night combinations (suitable for 7.62 MM). The built-in cant provides correct ballistic orientation for all inline night vision combinations. The MIL-STD-1913 side rails are detachable, so that they can be configured for Vis / IR illuminators, etc, or left off to keep rails pristine, without the need for bulky rail covers. The bottom rails are also detachable, and can be positioned anywhere along the entire lower length, for the interface of MIL-STD-1913 equipped bipods, grips, tripod mounts, etc. These rails are offered as spare parts for field-service replacement, keeping repair cost at a minimum. Barrels The barrels are LW-50 stainless steel in 16.1", 18" & 20" lengths. LW-50 has been proven for over 15 years, in military and civilian uses ranging from sniper, tactical, target, and other high-performance applications where long life and accuracy are critical. All gas blocks feature our unique Port Selector Technology (PST), a two-point adjustable gas selector that allows optimum function between suppressed, and unsuppressed operation at the flip of a switch. All barrels are threaded in 5/8 x 24, with an A2-type flash hider attached (other muzzle devices can be added at an additional cost). Internals The Bolts and Bolt Carriers are hand-polished hard-chrome with max-staked carrier keys. The carrier key contact areas are designed for zero gas leakage. The trigger group is the excellent Geissele SSA Combat Trigger. The SSA provides an average 4.5lb pull weight.(2.5 lbs on the first stage and 2lb on the second stage). Furniture Base Model comes complete with A2 Rifle Stock and LaRue medium A-PEG Grip, A2 Flash Hider, plus two LaRue-made 20-round magazines.
