1. How many years have you been in business? We opened 3 years ago. 2. What makes your business unique? Fireside Outdoor Kitchens & Grills is the only Outdoor Kitchen specialty store you may ever find. The staff are trained in outdoor kitchen design. The showroom offers multiple examples of full scale outdoor kitchens to browse and samples of many other building materials commonly used in outdoor kitchens. The gallery of photos of more than 100 kitchens already completed will offer you ideas and the staff will help you take your creativity and space available and turn it into the outdoor kitchen / outdoor room youll be proud to show your friends and neighbors. 3. What sets you apart from your competitor? We are the only store that can offer you the change to browse completed outdoor kitchens and view up to 100 completed jobs through our gallery. We dont just sell outdoor cooking appliances, we use them too. We actually teach cooking on these same products every Tuesday year round, for free. We know which products really work because we test them daily. 4. What changes have you witnessed since you began? Outdoor kitchens are becoming much more common and much more affordable. We offer kitchens on the sales floor that you can take home that day and can accommodate any dream for the outdoor space youve dreamed about. New materials offer the customer more range than ever building more beautiful projects with exotic materials like bendable stone for rounded edges, outdoor lighting and outdoor audio and television. 5. What is your favorite customer story? My favorite customer story started when a gentlemen confined to a wheelchair came into the store at closing time one evening with a list of prices, and a rough idea for a kitchen do be built on Lake Oconee. We worked with him and helped him build one of the most beautiful and elaborate jobs weve been apart of. The entire kitchen, which is about 36 by 24 can be controlled from one place (from his chair). The kitchen is under a covered roof, offers bar top seating for 7 with a space for him so that he can dine with his family, offers a 42 plasma television that rises out of a granite corner by the edge of the lake, an upholstered seating area for 8, a kitchen that can boil cook, sear cook, rotisserie cook, steam and traditional grill with running hot/cold water, ice maker, refrigeration and tons of storage. It even has outdoor air conditioning which can drop the temperature of the entire area 15 degrees in August.
