4 Show an appreciation for literature by electing to read for pleasure and expressing an interest in various literature genres. As a current early childhood educator who aspires to become a media specialist at my current school, the target audience age for my presentation will be elementary aged students; those students who are eight to eleven years old. The presentation will be geared towards those who are entering elementary school and the students will not have any specific entry skills besides knowing what their interests and likes are in life. Their educational level will be a range beginning with entry level third grade students to fifth grade students however; some students may be advanced learners whereas, others may be slightly below grade level. As for their background, these students come from dynamically diverse educational and financial situations. Students may also come from single parent homes or live in multiple family housing situations or with grandparents. The learning styles for the target audience vary in terms of auditory, kinesthetic, or visual being the students' dominant form of learning. As for motivation when dealing with reading, students will learn how to be enthusiastic and interested in reading for pleasure.
