TERM: Reinstatement MEANING: Restoring of an employee to the position he occupied prior to dismissal, stating that an employer shall treat the former employee in all the respects as if he had not been dismissed. EXAMPLE: In case of recent AI pilots issue the management has been directed by court to restore all its pilots whom it sacked during the strike. 2.
