*PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God of mercy, you sent Jesus Christ to seek and save
the lost. We confess that we have strayed from you
and turned aside from your way. We are misled by
pride, for we see ourselves pure when we are
stained, and great when we are small. We have failed
in love, neglected justice, and ignored your truth.
Have mercy, O God, and forgive our sin. Return us to
paths of righteousness through Jesus Christ, our
Savior.

H. Hopson
The Chancel Choir

Take up your cross the Savior said, if you would my disciple be;
deny yourself, the world forsake and humbly follow after me. Take
up your cross, let not its weight fill your weak spirit with alarm;
God’s strength will bear your spirit up, and brace your

heart and gird your arm. Take up your cross, not heed the shame,
nor let your foolish pride rebel; the Lord for you the cross
endured, to save your soul from death and hell. Take up your
cross and follow Christ, nor think till death to lay it down; for only
those who bear the cross may hope to wear the glorious crown.

God’s love with one another. Our hosts for this week are
members of Team 10: Beth Ann Vreeland, Jean Wright,

Rev. C. Russell Kerr

The radio broadcast this morning is in memory of

Kenneth, Douglas and Keith Flodin

USHERS are wearing badges. Please approach

them with any
questions. Serving you this morning are members
of Team VI:
Nancy McKinnon, Lisa Orr, Dottie Parker and
Karen Zimmerman.

Worship is the gathering of all those being called by God,

especially children.

Worship bags filled with activities for children are

available on the table at the rear of the sanctuary. Please
ask an usher.

Nurseries are available for children 5 and under (see

below). If your infant begins to cry or your child needs a
break from being quiet during worship, you are welcome to
leave and comfort your child and return to worship at your
earliest opportunity.

For safety and comfort, our church staffed nursery is

divided by age:
 The infant nursery is off the side hall (Room 106) on
your right. It is only for those children aged 2 years
and younger.
 The Pre-K is off the back hall (Room 102) behind the
worshippers and is only for those aged 3 – 5.

Any child over the age of 5 is encouraged to participate in

our worship service.
Please help us maintain these age divisions for our
nurseries.

We welcome all who are visiting with us today! We trust

you will experience the love and peace of God as we
worship together. Welcome folders are available for you –
please ask an Usher before or after Worship. Again,
welcome and may God bless you, today and always.
