As a private pilot I appreciate fine aircraft. For an aircraft to withstand the incident that
USAir A320 Flt 1549 did is truly indicative of stellar design and engineering. Kudos to
Airbus.
--
To the entire Airbus team: Praise and admiration for building the A320 to maintain
structural integrity in the water landing in New York! Thank you all!
--
Your AIRBUS planes are awesome!
--
Dear all in Airbus, Just had to complement your design and workmanship, I used to
crew on your a330 a321 a320 with Aer Lingus and prepared for emergencies such as
the one in New York. Looks like your plane and safety systems worked a dream. Well
done to all in design and manufacture and staff training.
--
I just saw your Airbus land in a New York river. I learned about the "ditching" button. I
saw that every passenger survived. I think you should all be VERY PROUD, take a
moment to realize that your company has done something great with design. I am very
proud of you too. Please take a moment and celebrate. This is exceptional
performance.

With all the just praise going to the pilot and crew of the US Airways A320 that landed in
the Hudson River, none would be possible without the fine design and construction of
your aircraft. You are all heroes too!
---
Just wanted to say kudos to the A320 team regarding the Hudson River event. Also
congratulations to the training team to have done such a commendable job in preparing
the pilot and 2nd officer to respond in such a way. Kudos to the entire air crew for their
cool. And finally to the passengers for the discipline they exhibited in deplaning, which I
am sure was influenced again by the air crew and the pilot. Again. A job well done.

I work in New York City and witnessed a miracle yesterday. The quick action taken by
the captain, the calmness of the crew and passengers, and the incredibly fast response
of the New York and New Jersey First Responders. However, there is a company called
Airbus that has not received enough credit and Thank you's regarding this incident. You
should be extremely proud the way your A320 performed yesterday! Thank You!!
--
I just wanted to tell you folks congratulations & great job. The Airbus that crash landed
in the Hudson River today is a testament to your aircrafts’ quality. In all the pictures the
plane was fully intact, when an 80 ton aircraft can make a water landing and hold
together, well it’s very impressive, you must be proud. I will look for AIRBUS when I
book future flights. Great job to all of you.

Congratulations, your aircraft with skilled crew beat all odds in the Miracle on the
Hudson

A toast to Toulouse: Conventional wisdom has us believe that the purpose of a
Mercedes Benz is to keep the occupants alive during a crash, so that they may go out
and buy another Mercedes Benz. If the same European standard of engineering is
applied to Airbus aircraft, perhaps we should apply that thinking to your planes as well.
Whatever the cause of the accident was, you people certainly made a plane that helped
save a lot of lives. So this is for all you great people of Airbus and sincerely: thank you
for making safe jet planes that save lives. You have a remarkable task putting those big
jets together. No doubt you do it well, and even give us Americans a run for our money.
Go and show Boeing how it should be done. Your European planes are just as cool,
neat, and great as your European cars. I now will feel safer stepping into an Airbus
aircraft. And this is because of the great people that work in your company, and the
products you make. Godspeed and keep up the good work. Best wishes and success
with your new A380 Superjumbo and A350 aircraft. Oh, by the way, I've been wanting to
write this to you folks: please think about making a replacement for Concorde, and soon
so I can fly supersonic across the Atlantic to visit you before I get too old. That was
another awesome jet you made. Not a passenger on 1549, but thank you. ;-)

Thank you for building such a great plane that could float and save lives.

Frequently I fly in Airbus planes (Mexicana de Aviacion). Today I met in the media the
miraculous maneuver on the Hudson River. I thought that the Pilot is a hero, and the
builders of the Airbus planes are the best artists of the aeronautical engineering.
Congratulations for Airbus Team.

Airbus is the one entity that I did not note as receiving kudos after the (thankfully)
wonderful outcome of the incident involving US Airways flight 1549. After Captain
Sullenberger, I believe that all of the passengers have Airbus to thank for manufacturing
a plane with such high safety specifications and quality. In these times where the media
constantly reports about companies who cut corners on safety specifications and who
fail to uphold ethical standards, it was really nice to see how well this particular A320
held up under the extreme circumstances. As a fearful flyer, I would embrace flying on
your aircrafts above all others. I just thought you should know this. Thank you.
Sincerely, Laurie, Boston, MA USA

While the pilot (for his skill) and the passengers (for their composer in a crisis situation)
had a major effect on the outcome of yesterday's events in New York); I just wanted to
thank you for building such a robust airframe. Once again thank you and keep up the
good work. Please forward to any appropriate readers. Sincerely, Chad, Kentucky

I think someone should comment on the fact that the Airbus made jet hit the Hudson
River and deserves credit for the fact that all passengers walked out of an intact vehicle.
--
I want to thank you for building a quality aircraft that with stood that crash in the Hudson
River. I knew no one on that plane, but it makes me feel good to see everyone walk
away from an accident like that. You should feel pride to know that yours and your
employee’s efforts were a major part in a successful crash (if there is such a thing).
Again, Thanks
--
I have flown in your aircraft on many occasions in recent years, but to see the way that
the aircraft involved in the Hudson accident maintained integrity has given me much
pleasure as I have been a fan of the Airbus family of aircraft. The build quality is truly of
the highest quality. Congratulations on a spectacular advertisement for quality and a pat
on the back to all your assembly staff.
--
Congratulation on building airplanes capable of surviving an emergency landing on a
river.... Keep up the good work. Cheers, Alvaro

AIRBUS TEAM = YOU MAKE A GOOD PRODUCT INDEED. THE LANDING IN THE
HUDSON RIVER IN NYC WAS AS MUCH DUE TO YOUR GOOD AIRPLANE AS IT
WAS TO THE CREW'S FINE EFFORT. BRAVO AIRBUS...AND KEEP UP THE GOOD
WORK. TOM, ST. LOUIS MO. USA

I hope someone in addition to me has written to congratulate your company and the
designers and computer programmers of your A-320 aircraft. The people who survived
the crash into the Hudson River in New York yesterday owe their lives to your
outstanding design and build teams. Here is one American who cannot overlook your
professionalism and outstanding products and just wants to say thanks. And, I am glad
that my frequent airline trips are often in Airbus aircraft. Thanks again to the great
Airbus team! GREAT JOB!

As a former military aircraft machinist and current mechanical engineer, I just want to
say that I am extremely impressed by the durability and ability of the A320 to withstand
the water landing of US Airways Flight 1549. This is the single most impressive non-
failure under duress that I have ever seen in practice, and I have worked on a lot of
wrecked airframes, Keep up the outstanding work! Sincerely, Pat K.
--
Your engineers deserve much praise because they too are heroes for the design of the
plane that ditched in the Hudson in NYC. Thank you.
--
The incident in New York showed the world that you make safe aircraft. Next time I will
fly, I will choose an airbus flight!
---
Be proud: One good aircraft. Thank you.
--
Dear Sirs, I want to congratulate you with the performance of the Airbus 320 that
emergency landed in the Hudson River. The captain correctly gets much praise and
credits but the footing of the landing and the way the aircraft behaved show that your
aircraft needs praise as well. It did not disintegrate even under these extreme
conditions. It shows how well built the A-320 is. As a frequent flyer I will feel even more
reassured when boarding an Airbus in the future! Again: my sincerest congratulations!
--
Please send congratulations to all involved. This plane in the Hudson is one of the
happiest stories of my 56 years. The heroism, training, design and of course luck were
all in such wonderful alignment that it staggers the mind. But the phrase "luck is so often
opportunity meeting preparation" has never, ever rung more true. God Bless You All!!

Hello from here in Florida, USA! I just wanted to comment on the incident that occurred
last Friday in New York City. The way that the plane that you produced survived the
water landing really is a credit to the design and construction of your products. The
survival of all the passengers, though labeled as miraculous, resulted from the
outstanding crew, but also the outstanding quality of your planes. I will try to use them
when I travel. Best wishes and congratulations!
--
I wish to thank all of your dedicated employees, who are the unsung heroes responsible
for the "miracle on the Hudson". It is a tribute to all involved with the manufacture of this
particular aircraft the high survivability that occurred. Due to their diligence in producing
a vastly superior airframe that could maintain its structural integrity under extreme
stresses. If this aircraft had broken up during landing in such frigid waters the results
would have been vastly different. All these folks deserve recognition on a job well done,
plus a bonus. Thank you, Thorne W.

Congratulations to the first successful water landing of a public plane. I think, it was not
only the experience of the pilot but too the good construction of the plane that made
possible the good sailing characters. Thank you for working good!
