Provide warning signs and maintain the ingress and egress at Tower Crane base and ensure free from water and other effluents or nuisances. Provide and ensure only approved lifting gears used. Ensure provision of proper landing, automatically protected gate and other necessary measures for safety of persons using the passenger hoist. Proper Protective Apparel Provide safety helmet and ensure that all workers wear it in compulsory "safety helmet" areas. Provide safety belt / harness and ensure it is properly worn by workers when working at height and secure it whenever necessary. Provide safety footwear and ensure that all workers wear it while working at all time. Provide safety goggles / spectacles / eyewear / face shield and ensure workers wear it while working in condition where likely to cause eye / face injury. Provide ear plugs or muff and ensure workers wear them while working in condition where they are exposed to noise that likely to cause NID. Procedure for the use of the Proposed Inspection Checklist.


1 2 3 4 Inspectors shall go throught the checlist and apply on the physical inspection being carried out. When contractors found complying to the item being inspected, please mark " " in the C column. When contractors do not comply or a substandard practices to the item being inspected, please mark "X" in the C column and circle the Demerit Point number in the DP column. When sub-standard found to be serious violations, please state in in the remark columns as "Partial or Full SWO imposed" and please briefly describe the discrepancies inspected in the "Other Findings and Corrective Action :" , at the last paragraph of the inspection checklist.
