On the night of Friday 5th May 2012 at 9.30pm while standing at my side gate gazing at the clear night sky I spotted a green and white glowing object approaching from the south about 1 kilometre above ground level. At first I thought it to be a meteorite, but this object did not fall to earth but instead continued on an horizontal course heading north at a considerable speed until it was out of sight within just 23 seconds. From what I was able to observe in such a short time, the object was no meteorite, neither was it some Earth-based aircraft, rather it was saucer-shaped, the bottom half glowing a lime green colour, the top half glowing a brilliant white. From where I spotted the craft it appeared to be flying about 2 kilometres west of me and must have been of considerable size. As the sky over the Blue Mountains has been pretty quiet lately this sighting broke the monotony! The Blue Mountains are in fact long overdue for another UFO flap. My luck did not end with this Katoomba sightings. On the night of Thursday 10th May 2012, as Heather and I had been out for the day and arrived home too late for an afternoon walk we drove Andy up to Mt York outside Mt Victoria for a late night walk. The time was about 12.50am when, while I had been walking Andy along the road near the carpark, looking west across the Hartley Valley, high in the sky, and probably above the OberonBathurst Plains region, on a clear starry night, I spotted a large redglowing object, which seemed to emerge from higher above the horizon in a slow movement, then hover perhaps several kilometres above the earth. Here it appeared to hover, emitting a brilliant red glow until 12.55am, when it began moving lower to a point where it was only about 3 kilometres above the earth where it ceased movement again. Then, at 1am four smaller glowing objects, two each to north and south, appeared to emerge from the glow of the gigantic craft, surely a mother ship of some sort. From the great distance that I was watching, I observed that these smaller craft seemed to hover perhaps about 1 kilometre apart from one another. Then at 1.05am they commenced movement, flying off north and south at incredible speeds. The mother ship remained hovering until 1.10am when the red-glowing giant craft began moving south-west to disappear over the horizon. Mt York has been the scene of many UFO sightings over the years. ***** The following reports were given by a Hazelbrook woman during a telephone conversation:

The woman and her son observed from the Hazelbrook area at 6.30pm on Sunday 7th May 2012 a large silvery-glowing object moving slowly just above cloud level coming in from the east to momentarily hover in the northern sky north of Hazelbrook. It then proceeded west to be lost from view over distant trees. Then what appeared to be the same object, which by now they had no doubts was a UFO, reappeared in the northern sky as if out of nowhere as she said, to hover in the sky to the north of Hazelbrook to repeat its movement west as before, although this time picking up speed, its silvery glow changing to yellow then rainbow colours. At this point the lady phoned Heather and I at Blue Mountains UFO Research Club and told us to run out side and have a look at the mystery craft. Doing so with my binoculars, I was just in time to see the rainbow coloured-glowing craft changing course over North Katoomba to disappear quickly to the northwest. Meanwhile something more sensational took place that Sunday evening when a young family and some friends were celebrating the birthday of the husband. The group, consisting of a dozen young men and women, felt the warmth of the loungeroom suddenly turn cold. Then, as some of them began looking for a warmer room, thinking the heater in the loungeroom had broken down, one young woman noticed a 1.6 metre tall human-like yellowish glowing form materialise through the loungeroom wall. Those still in the room also saw it and all ran outside screaming. As everyone congregated outside in the backyard, they saw the being emerge out of the house through the outside of the same wall, to stand and watch them as they ran screaming into nearby bush. Then, as one girl looked back, the being simply faded away. A red-glowing triangular craft about 7 metres wide was claimed seen to land around 5pm in scrubland north of neighbouring Lawson. The three men who claim to have seen it, drove along a bush road hoping to get a good look at it. Leaving their car at a spot about 500 yards from where the UFO had been seen to descend, they moved through the bushes. Then suddenly there was a silent red flash and the craft silently appeared at lightening speed out of the scrub and flew over their heads in an easterly direction. It had vanished by the time they turned around to look! These latest accounts suggest that the Blue Mountains are indeed about to get that long-awaited UFO flap! -0-

TRIANGLE UFO FLYING OVER SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA 2-MAY-2012

Interesting footage of some kind of triangle-shaped craft in the sky above Sydney in Australia on Wednesday, 2nd May 2012 by Lazlo Novak. Camera: SonyDSR-DVD 653E with infra red filter.

Reply Someone replied to this: I just saw something like this too here in Philippines, just about 30 mins earlier. The time I was typing this is 7:33pm. I saw 4 straight lights and a 3 blinking lights creating a triangular formation and as they blink, I was able to see the silhouette of the craft. For the first 2 minutes, it wasnt moving and after I removed my attention to it for a few seconds, it was gone.
