Dorcas Guild News: The wrapped empty boxes for Operation Christmas Child are in the narthex and in the basement. They are ready to be filled by the congregation. Please return the filled boxes to church by November 11. October 30 - (Tuesday) 12:30 PM Ladies Fold Laundry at the Christian Rest home. October 31 - (Wednesday) 7 PM Reformation Day is a day of thanksgiving for the unshackling & preserving of the church. We will begin our fellowship meeting with congregational singing, hear special music from our young peoples group, and Dr. Michael Barrett, Academic Dean (PRTS) will bring us a message of reformation from Gods Word. After the meeting we will have fellowship and gifts for our children downstairs. Please make plans with your family to join us. November 3 - (Saturday) 7 AM Mens Breakfast Bible Study at the Rainbow Grill in Hudsonville. November 4 - (Sunday) 4:15 PM Youth group meeting. Snack: Prince

November 6 (Tuesday) 7 PM Dorcas Guild meeting. November 10 (Saturday) 7 PM Informal service at Mel Trotter Mission November 12 (Monday) 7:30 PM Consistory Meeting. November 13 - (Tuesday) 9:45 AM Ladies Bible Study. Coffee is at 9.45 AM and the lesson starts at 10. Ladies of all ages are welcome and nursery is provided. November 14 - (Wednesday) 7 PM - Boys and Girls Club. Gym night for boys & girls grades K 2. There will be a regular meeting for all the others.

The congregation extends its sympathy to Dean & Carol Prince and family, on the sudden loss of Carols mother, Mrs. Hermina Plaggemars, this past Thursday. Visitation will be held today from 24 and 7-9 at Langelandth Sterenberg funeral home; 315 E. 16 St. Holland, MI. Dear Congregation: Thank you so much for the many cards and prayers. A special thanks for the visits of the elders and Dr. Lawrence Bilkes and Dr. Jerry Bilkes. All of these were much appreciated. News ~

Michigan Voter guides for the November 6th General Election are available for pickup in the narthex. Please contact Heidi Pronk at hpronk@charter.net with any election questions. Trinitarian Bible Society will hold its Annual Public Meeting at Plymouth Christian High School on Tuesday, November 13, at 7:30 PM. Rev. Jerrold Lewis will present the topic entitled Search the Scriptures. Word & Deed Monthly update - On October 21 , Frank Phiri, our gifted Director of the Blantyre Girls Home (a home for young recovering prostitutes) and the Manja Safe House (a safe recovery home for girls accused of being witches), suddenly passed away from a brain aneurysm. Please pray for Franks wife, Mary, and his three young girls, Deborah, Thandi and Thakondana as they deal with this difficult loss, and for the girls at the (2) homes, as they are also deeply affected. Finally, pray for strength and wisdom as our partners search for a suitable replacement Director.
