With the help of waveforms, explain the time domain analysis of Buck converter and derive the expression for the output voltage. (or) 14. Define modulation index with respect to sinusoidal pulse width modulation.

It supplies a constant load current of 100A to an RL load. Calculate the firing angle of the converter if the average value of the output voltage is 400V and average power delivered to the load.
