Now in 1 Cor.15:32 Paul talks about his fight with the "beasts at Ephsus" these "beasts" are the "divers" in Acts 19:9. The men that opposed Paul..the religious people who refused to hear him. "But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know na turally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. " (Jude 1:10) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be fals e teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (2 Pete ...r 2:1) But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil o f the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own cor ruption; (2 Peter 2:12) Paul tells us he was up against "beasts" at Epesus. We will also face "beasts" i n our walk with the Lord Jesus. The moment you begin to teach and preach Jesus, watch out. The "beasts" come out of the wood work! These are religious people. T hese beasts , these dvers, are full of adultry and wickedness. They desire only what is yours. They desire to corrupt you for they themselves are corrupted. "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he a lso reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; bu t he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And .. .let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Gal 6:7-9) Paul had come up against that RELIGIOUS SPIRIT...That control spirit of JEZEBEL. ..THAT LYING SPIRIT OF SATAN...Paul said he fought this fight as a mere man. Today we also fight and we have the Holy Spirit to fight for us. This battle is the LORDS and HE will bring us through it. NEVER be afraid to stand against THAT BEAST....that Lying, controlling, murdering, religious spirit of Satan who has tried to set himself up as god of this world and deceiving the whole world with his subtle ways....we NOW have a greater ONE within us....Christ IN US the hope of GLORY...do not be afraid to stand FIRM in the face of all opposition and decl are the NAME OF THE LORD; JESUS our CHRIST; YAHSHUA the MESSIAH...for Jesus IS L ORD. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he t hat is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
