Advantages and Disadvantages of studying abroad

Nowadays, there are many people continue their studies outside their country. They think that educations in other countries are better than in their own country. In my country, many students continuing their studies overseas. Australia, Singapore, China and USA are the most favorite countries to study. In my opinion, studying abroad is a good choice but there are many advantages and disadvantages on it. By moving to other country and leaving alone, we can gain more experience and also we can stand alone. However, we need a long time to adapt or else we can get homesick. The second one is, well have the benefit of force language speaking. For example, if you study in china, you will be forced to speak Chinese (mandarin) every time and everywhere. Hopefully, when you come back from china, you can speak the language fluently The disadvantages are the standard of living and free-friendship. The cost of living in other countries is quite expensive, so we need to spend more money on it. Moreover, the freefriendship means you can have friends and do anything freely, but the problem is about freesex and so on. In conclusion, I think studying abroad is a good choice but we need to guard ourselves by avoiding drugs, free-sex, and other criminal things.

There are more advantages to studying abroad than disadvantages.

I utterly agree that studying abroad provides a life-changing experience to students and it also brings many benefits along. There is no doubt that studying abroad has various advantages, however, we can not dismiss the disadvantages, for instance, people somehow has an impression that they would learn the local language of the country they went magically fast without any effort, unfortunately, that is wrong. Students still need to pay attention and study. Understandably, in a foreign country almost everyone goes through some culture shock and feel homesick. Individuals should give some time themselves to adjust to a new way of living which might take a while. And finally, students should consider the living expenses. Frankly, many countries does not allow the international students to work which means they will need backup from their families. Despite the disadvantages, studying abroad offers so much that we can not turn our backs to it. First of all, students personality changes after managing to survive in another country, moreover, they will be gained memories that will last a life time. Secondly, students will have opportunity to meet people from all around the world and also they will be able to travel and experience the culture by themselves. Students could do an internship, volunteer assignment or work in the place which would give a completely different view of the country if they would work with the local community. Studying abroad would also add a critical career advantage as employers seek for workers who can communicate with others efficiently, who knows the important of cross-cultural understanding and an appreciation for different points of view. To sum up, while studying abroad, students will have developed skills and attitudes that will stay with them for a lifetime.

When people's standard of living increase,they often think about improving their knowledge for a better life.To do that,they choose to study in developed contries where they can get progressive education.However,everything has its advantages and disadvantages,so studying abroad is not an exeptation. In my opinion, I think studying abroad is the beat way to improve ourselve.As you know, there are obvious advantages to study abroad. Fristly, We have chance to improve our language. I think nothing is better than to learn language with the native speakers.Because we can practise with the local people what we study at school, so it is very useful to improve our listening and speaking skills.It also offer chances to discover the new cultures,way of thinking,history,customs and lifestyles. Futhermore, we have opportunities to study the new technologies and most recent science achivements.In addition, we are equipped with the valuaable and updated knowledge which may help us find jobs easily after graduating. However, studying abroad is often expensive.We have to pay not only for our school fees but also for our living cost.Therefore, finance may become the biggest problem. Consequently, it distracts our mind from studying to earning money. Last but not least,adapting to a new environment is e real challenge for every foreign student.While changing the weather can affect our health,different cultures and customs may influence our mind and make us become less confident or even a victim of discrimination.Everyday may turn into a struggle for survival in a strange coutry.If we dont have enough physical and mental strength,we will fail to adjust ourselve in the new environment.As a result, we could neither study or gain beautiful experiences as we have expected. In conclustion, while studying abraod offers great opportunities for a better future,it also has challenges that we must try our best to overcome what happened to make our dream come true.Therefore,If you have a chance i think you should take that chance to study abroad.

Advantages and disadvantages of studying abroad

IN THE OLD DAY , THE YOUTH PLAYED A SECONDARY ROLE IN THE SOCIETY. THEY NEVER ASSUMED ANY RESPONSIBILITY NOR WAS IT OFFERED. THE ELDERS PLAYED ALL THE IMPORTANT PARTS AND THE YOUTH WAS MADE LEGALLY ONLY AFTER THEY ATTAINED THE AGE OF TWENTY-ONE. IN MANY MATTERS THGE DECISION OF THE ELDERS WAS FINAL. BUT NOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED. THE YOUTH APPEARS TOBE REVOLTING THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. IN SO FAR, THE YOUTH WAS FOLLOWING THE OCCUPATION OF THE PARENT, THE YOUHTWAS SUBSERVIENT AND HE HAD TO LEARN FROM THE ELDER. BUT WITH THE SPREADOF EDUCATION AND DIVERSIFICATION OF JOBS AND FACILITY IN TRAVEL WHICH TAKES PEOPLE AWAY, FAMILY TIES GET SLAKENED. IT IS A MATTER OF THE FACT THAT, SOME OF THEM STILL HAVE BEST CONDITION AND CHANCE TO STUDY WELL, EVEN STUDY ABROAD.

PERHAPS, IN THEIR MIND , THEY NEVER THOUGHT THAT THEY WOULD BE LEAVING THEIR COUNTRY OF BIRTH TO GO AND LIVE AWAY FROM IT BEFORE. BUT CIRCUMSTANCE CHANGED AND THEY HAD TO TAKE AN IRREVOKABLE DECISION. THEY MORE AND MORE WANT TO GO WHERE THEY CAN STUDY WITH BEST EDUCATIONIN ORDER TO GET BEST KNOWLEDGE AND HAVE OPPORTUNITIES OF EMPLOYMENT WITH A GOOD PAY RIGHT AFTER RETURNING THEIR COUNTRY. I THINK THAT IS QUITE GOOD !!! . HOWEVER, THE THOUGHT OF LEAVING THEIR DEAR COUNTRY ,WHERE THEY WERE BORN, BRED , EDUCATED AND SPENT THEIR YOUTHFUL LIFE WITH UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES, IS ALMOST WRENCH! THEY CANT FORGET EVERYTHING ABOUT THEIR COUNTRY:THE CLIMATE, EVERGREEN SURROUNDINGS, FRINEDLY PEOPLE, RAINS, SUNSHINE AND THE FRUITS WHICH THEY AHVE IN PLENTY. IT IS ALSO THEIR FAMILY, RELATIVES AND NEIGHBOURS WHO ARE VERY LOVABLE AND KIND, ETC... HOWEVER, WE CANT DENY A THING THAT STUDYING ABROAD IS A VERY GOOD OPPORTUNITY AND A BRILLIANT FUTURE LEADING TO THE SUCCESS. WHEN WE STUDY IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES, WE CAN SEE A WIDER WORLD BECAUSE WE CAN AFFORD TO TAKE VACATIONA AND TRAVEL TO BEAUTY SPOTS WHERE WE NEVER COME TO. IN ADDITION, WE ARE ABLE TO TAKE AVANDTAGE OF PRACTISING OUR ENGLISH, GAIN GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, SOCIAL ADVANCES , NEW LIFE-STYLE, ETC... IT IS VERY INTERESTING !!! BUT TO MY OPINION, THEY MAY HAVE MANY DIIFICULTIES. FIRSTLY, LETS DEAL WITH THEIR CUSTOMS AND HABBITS. WHEN THEY HAVE MOVED OUT OF THEIR ABODES, THEY ARE UNABLE TO SHAKE OFF SOME OF THEIR FUNDAMENTIAL CUSTOMS AND MANNERS.AN EUROPEAN CONTINUES TOBE EUROPEANEVEN WHEN HE FINDS HIMSELF IN THE EQUATOR, THE CHINESE CONTINUES TOBE CHINESE WHENEVER THEY GO. SO DOES VIETNAMESE.THEY HAVE TO GET TO KNOW THE DIFFIRENT CUSTOMS AND MANNERS. THEY FINDS THE DIFIRENCE IN CLOTHING, IN FOOD, IN THEIR COMMUNICATION WITH OTHERS, IN WORKSHIP AND SO ON... THIS INTERMINGLING HAS A CARRY-VER VALUE. THEYLEARN TO DRESS LIKE THEM. FOR EXAMPLE, AMERICAN WOMEN, WHEN THEY GO TO INDIA, LEARN TO WEAR THE" SARI". THEY WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE " KIMONO" OF THE JAPANESE. THE "SARONG" OF MALAYSIANS AND INDONESIANS IS SLOWLY BEING COPIED BY SOMEOTHER NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES; SIMILARLY IN THE MATTER OF FOOD. THE MAINADVANTAGE IS ONE GETS TO KNOW THE OTHER. THE RACIAL PREJUDICES GET BLUNT AND SLOWLY FADE AWAY. IT TEACHES THEM TOLERANCE, WHICH IS HIGHLY NEEDED TODAY IN THIS WORLD. BESIDES, THEY ALSO TRY THEIR BEST TO GET OVER OTHER DIFFICLUTIES,SAY, FINANCIAL,BARRIER OF LANGUAGE, HOMESICKNESS, NEW LIFESTYLE,ETC.... GIVEN THE CHOICE, I WOULD CHOOSE THE UNIVERSITY(UNI.) OUT IN THE COUNTRY FOR REASONS WHICH I PUT FORTH BELOW. BEFORE ACTUALLY STATING " WHY", I SHALL SAY " WHY NOT". LET ME FIRST STATE MY CASE AGAINST A CITY UNI. UNIVERSITIES IN CITIES ARE USUALLY CROWDED AND IN CROWDED LOCATIONS.EXCEPT FOR A FEW UNIVERSITIES, MANY UNIVERSITIES ARE HOUSEDIN DRAB, OLD HOUSES WITH A SLOVENLY ATMOSPHERE. THE NOISE FROM OUTSIDE WILL BE ABOMIABLE AND SINCE THE UNI. IS CROWDED, THERE CANT BE MUCH ORDIALITYBETWEEN THE STUDENTS . THE QUESTION OF TRANSPORT FROM UNI. TO HOME AND VICE VERSA WILL BE TIME CONSUMING AND AT THE SAME TIME SICKENING. ONE WILL HAVE TO START QUITE EARLY AND TRAVEL BY CROWDED BUSES OD TRAINS AND RETURN HOME LATE. BY THE TIME ONE RETURNS HOME , THERE WILL NOT BE TIME FOR PLAY OR RELAXATION. THIS ALMOST MECHANICAL LIFE FOR SIX DAYS IN THE WEEK WOULD TELL ON THE NERVES. IN A SMALL TOWN, THE SCOPE FOR LEARNING OUTSIDE THE CLASS MAYBE LITTLE. THE CHANCES FOR RECREATIONMAY BE LIMITED. YOU ARE NO BODY IN A CITY BUT U ARE EASILY RECOGNISED IN A SMALL TOWN. SO THE SCOPE FOR INDULGING IN PLAY AND RECREATION MAYBE LIMITED UNLESS PROVIDED BY THE UNI. THERE MAYBE VARIETY LACKING IN SUCH

UNIVERSITIES. DIFFIRENT STRATA OF SOCIETY MAY NOT REPRESENTED THERE AND THE SCOPE FOR KNOWING PEOPLE AT LARGE WILL BE LIMITED. THEY HAVE NEITHER THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE COUNTRY NOR THE VARIEGATED EXPERIENCES ONE COULD HAVE FROM A CITY... IN SUMMARY, EVERYTHING HAS TWO SIDES:ADVANTAGE AND DISAVANDTAGE. SO EACH OF US SHOULD ACCEPT AND GET OVER ALL DIFFICULTIES IF WE HAVE A CHANCE TO STUDY ABROAD. LETS TRY OUR BEST TO STUDY WELL , LIVE INDEPENDENTLY AND IN HARMONY WITH OTHER STUDENTS AND MAINTAIN OUR STAND UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. THIS IS ALSO A SACRED DUTY!
