Midway through the final week of the tournament, several teams have 2-1 records. Its very apparent that many divisions are extremely competitive and will more than likely stay that way through Thursday. The end result is this; teams with the same record (4-2) or (3-3) in divisions where all of the teams dont have the opportunity to play every other team will end up using the runs allowed category as the determining factor in final seeding. The managers packet spells out this scenario and is very specific in how the wildcards are determined.
