calculated by the Ohio Department of Education and will not exceed the state average cost to
transport all pupils in the state the preceding year.

C. Approve the 2008-09 salary ($53,434) for Nicole Berkely, Application Specialist. Her salary was
omitted from the original recommendation approved December 1, 2008.

3. Approve the acceptance of a $600.00 Target Field Trip grant awarded to Hopewell Elementary School
and authorize the treasurer to establish the appropriate fund. Funds from this grant will be used to
cover the cost of transportation for third graders to visit residents at West Chester Health Care.

4. Approve the acceptance of a $3,500.00 Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty grant awarded
to the Lakota Local School District, and authorize the treasurer to establish the appropriate fund.
Funds from this grant will be used to purchase five (5) student response systems for four high school
buildings and one for ITR use.

5. Accept donations as presented in Appendix A.
