Separation of Spirits

Matthew 10:34-36 Dont suppose that I have come to bring peace to the Land. It is not peace I have come to bring, but a sword! For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, so that a mans enemies will be the members of his own household. What do you think of when you read this scripture? At face value it seems ruthless and destructive, yet on a deeper level, a spiritual level; there lies the end all to all things. Once, a long time ago, I listened to a gentlemen describe marriage in a spiritual sense. He said two people who dont know God can get married and stay married for life, because they share the same spirit, both of wickedness, they enjoy all of the things the world has to offer, including their intimacy, two foul spirits intertwined, and all of the things that are not in their eternal interest and so the love of darkness, propels them on together. He said two people, who love God, can get married and stay married for life, because they share the same spirit, both of longing for eternity and a love that cannot be matched by anything earthly, their intimacy, pureness, because they honor God with their bodies, as well as their minds. He said then there lies the divide, a believer with a non-believer, the most destructive path. 2 Corinthians 6:14: Do not yoke yourselves together in a team with unbelievers. For how can righteousness and lawlessness be partners? What fellowship does light have with darkness? When a believer is yoked to an unbeliever, chaos ensues because thereafter Gods Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) constantly battles evil, Satan. An unbeliever doesnt understand the things of God, because he does not have Gods Spirit, he has the blinders of evil. In his mind, all believers are idiots (I use the term idiot because this is how I have heard it described by the unbeliever). If this is the atmosphere between the believer and the unbeliever, what kind of chaos, does the offspring, of such a joinder endure? Maybe a constant battle of good versus evil? Who do you believe has the greatest lure? Im sure Eve, King David, King Solomon, Gehazi, would say evil, because it seems so wonderful and its enticement so delicious, at least at the moment of temptation. Once the temptee takes a bite of the fruit, commits adultery, marries an unbeliever, chases riches instead of righteousness, and the consequences begin that delicious enticement suddenly isnt so enticing. In fact, its absolutely destructive, effecting everyone remotely related to its existence, enter in Yeshua.

I am often affected by this because yes, I am an idiot, in the eyes of the unbeliever. Here is the truth, I love God and anyone that is not in agreement with me, will think me an idiot. I counted the costs and this is what the sum of all things are . . . I must cling to God. Luke 14:28-30 28 "Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Don't you sit down and estimate the cost, to see if you have enough capital to complete it? 29 If you don't, then when you have laid the foundation but can't finish, all the onlookers start making fun of you 30 and say, `This is the man who began to build, but couldn't finish!' While it saddens me that I may have to leave others behind, there are others still, who love God as much as I do and they become my family and my community. While Adonai is my strength and Redeemer, he replaces everything that the locust has stolen. He points out to me who is my family. Matthew 12:48-50 48 But to the one who had informed him he replied, "Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?"49 Pointing to his talmidim, he said, "Look! Here are my mother and my brothers! 50 Whoever does what my Father in heaven wants, that person is my brother and sister and mother." Looking at Matthew 10, I can clearly see that Yeshua (Jesus) divides spirit from spirit, good from evil, preparing for the day he returns and reigns as The King. He literally divides good from evil, preparing his talmidim for eternity, the place he has prepared for us. I have so many I wish I hadnt ofs, because the consequences which set in long ago, do not ever go away. Every day is another barrier, another mountain, another bought of hopelessness. Yet I move on in faith, knowing that whether Yeshua returns to take me home, or I first lie sleeping in the ground until he returns, I am his and no one can snatch me from his hand. John 10:27-29 27 My sheep listen to my voice, I recognize them, they follow me, 28 and I give them eternal life. They will absolutely never be destroyed, and no one will snatch them from my hands. 29 My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no one can snatch them from the Father's hands. As Paul said: Philippians 1:20-30 20 It all accords with my earnest expectation and hope that I will have nothing to be ashamed of; but rather, now, as always, the Messiah will be honored by my body, whether it is alive or dead. 21For to me, life is the Messiah, and death is gain. 22 But if by living on in the body I can do fruitful work, then I don't know which to choose. 23 I am caught in a dilemma: my desire is to go off and be with the Messiah - that is better by far - 24 but because of you, the greater need is to

stay on in the body. 25 Yes, I am convinced of this; so I know I will stay on with you in order to help you progress in the faith and have joy in it. 26 Then, through my being with you again, you will have even greater reason for boasting about the Messiah Yeshua. 27 Only conduct your lives in a way worthy of the Good News of the Messiah; so that whether I come and see you or I hear about you from a distance, you stand firm, united in spirit, fighting with one accord for the faith of the Good News, 28 not frightened by anything the opposition does. This will be for them an indication that they are headed for destruction and you for deliverance. And this is from God; 29 because for the Messiah's sake it has been granted to you not only to trust in him but also to suffer on his behalf , 30 to fight the same battles you once saw me fight and now hear that I am still fighting. To all of you who are my mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and children in Yeshua, I love you and am so grateful for you and look forward to the day when we meet in eternity, separated from the evil of this world. Proverbs 18:24 24 Some "friends" pretend to be friends, but a true friend sticks closer than a brother. FINALLY! EVEN SO LORD, OUR GRACIOUS LORD, COME!
