She has grown so much in ability, but also in confidence and self-esteem. She graduates on the 23rd. She would love books on hair cuts and styles and nail designs and she also needs a new professional hair-dryer. If youd like to donate these items, please let me know. Jeffri will also graduate this month from 6th grade. This is a huge accomplishment and Im so excited for him. He is applying to car mechanic classes and will have to be pulled out a lottery to get in. So we are praying for God to open doors. This month I started individual Bible studies with each of the girls. I am reading through Lies Young Women Believe by Nancy Lee DeMoss with Yajaira. It has been really eye-opening for her to see that so many of her insecurities are met with promises in Scripture from Christ! Carolina and I are reading Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis and The Passion of Jesus Christ by John Piper. Clearly she is a reader (and I cant pronounce half the words in Spanish!) She is eating up every bit of what she is learning and loves being challenged by new truths from Scripture.

This month brought the resolution of many prayers! Little Elias got to move in with the Clow family (other MTW missionaries on my team)! We waited months for word from the judge and it finally came and Elias is adjusting well to his new home. You can keep praying this week as we have the official court date to sign the rest of the papers. We are praying that God will heal Glenis in such a way that she will be able to care for her son in the future and we are working and supporting her to that end. However, for now we praise the Lord for His provision for Elias! We are up and running! There are clothes for sale and clientes coming. The first month we sold enough to pay our workers, so were on our way... I bought more clothes for resale and were learning our way around that market as well. Trying to find a good supplier. We would still love to work off donations. I you would like to donate clothes, please let me know! You can ship store donations down here via Rapido Cargo ((305) 631-0686)and its pretty easy. I have a list ready of things that are big sellers and I would be happy to share that! We also feel that the store has provided a door into more ministry as we have two other girls working with us who are not living in the home. One is a believer and one is not, but the Lord is opening doors! Due to their new-found paychecks, Carolina and Yajaira are now learning about a Budget! It has been so exciting for me to see the start of their financial independence. They dont make enough to support themselves yet, but they are starting by buying all the milk and diapers for their babies, helping with medical costs, putting money into savings, contributing to food, tithing, etc. They have to keep track of their money and report back to me. Also, it gives them a little extra money and Ive been excited to see them use it selflessly to bless other people. Im like a proud mama.
