RSSIto observe signal strength when doing connection distance test. API Functionuser can use API function to do distance test.only available for Xbee802.15.4 module

Steps for using API function 1:configure the local basic module to API and the only source address. 2:configure the only source address of the remote module, and set destination address to source address of the local module.(Step 1) 3. to allow API in PC Setting of X-CTU, connect local module to the PC. 4:connect remote module to back-test module.

The Terminal Tab Terminal has these three functions, Terminal Stimulation, receive and send data packets, Displays or input ASCII or hexadecimal data.

Download and update the FWLib

1.Click Download New Versionsbutton. 2.If you need to download from the internet, click Web. 3.If you want to update from local,click file button,as shown below. 4.If you choose to update from local, there will be window for you to choose a file. 5.Click OK or Done button.

Remote Module Managementthrough wireless to configure the remote module

The conditions to use remote configuration(the local module must be API firmware.) Make sure of these steps to remote configure through X-CTU 1.Allow API in PC Settings 2.Confirm the serial port settings. 3. Choose Remote Configuration in the top left corner in Modem Configuration.

4.Click Open Com port 5.Click Discover,will show all module discovered

6.Choose the module that needs configuration. 7.Click READ in Modem configuration Now all the parameter of the remote module will show in Modem Configuration. The way of changing parameters is the same to changing local module parameters. can not support remote changing firmware so far To clear the list, choose Node List > Clear
