INTRODUCTION
I expect to pass through this world but once. Any accomplishment therefore that I can do, or any contribution that I can make to my field of specialization, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

When I was a 1st year student in this Department back in the early 80s I was consumed by a philosophical question of the meaning of life. Particularly, the meaning of my existence, I am troubled by my idealism that I tried to act on it by participating in several meaningful endeavor until I found my calling in life. I have now found the answer to that question of mine back them. That I can sustain meaningful existence in touching other lives. I can bring the best in me by bringing out the best in others. I am now on my eight years of teaching here in TUP. But it is only now that I found the fortitude to do what I am planning to do a long time a go: to develop this subject into a challenging one.

To my parents, Mr. & Mrs. Edmundo & Divina Nicolas, their remainders and support, both financially and morally were insurmountable. During many sleepless night while I was working on this drawings, I see them watch over me and reminding me to maintain balance in what ever I am doing. Without them I could able to finish this task. To my classmates, BSCE 1B Batch 2017, who together with me, endured the difficulty of this undertaking. I saw in their eyes the exhaustion but also the spirit to fight on. Without them, I would felt alone and lonely but because of them, I felt encourage and determine to complete the project, for I know they were striving hard to accomplish it. To the exceptional people I know, namely: Ate Jez, Lola Nita, Tita Daisy, Tita Chique, Ate Lea, who provided me with suggestions and recommendations to improved on what I am doing. They provided the support no other people could not make. Having them by my side make things easier. To my teacher, Mr. Edmundo E. Nicolas, Jr., whose knowledge, experience, firmness and discipline enforced in his class was remarkable. Through his direction, I gain exposure on the areas of carpentry, housewiring and design. He encouraged us to asked questions, to be analytical, to try to do things we havent tried,. He presented to us what we would become, the challenges we would face in order to complete our studies. He incorporated principles and values of life in his teachings, showed documentaries and accompanied us to visit exhibits and many more. Our stay with him as his class during this semester was a memorable one. To him my gratitude and respect will always remain. Lastly, to the Lord Our God, whose divine providence guided me to take this course and eventually meeting new people, who would become a part of my growing and maturing life. His love strengthen me and gave me the courage to go on. For I know now that I was in good hands.
