Meijer Pharmacy Certified Pharmacy Technician May, 2012 - Present Receive, input, fill, and package prescriptions for verification by a pharmacist. Troubleshoot any third-party insurance limits or problems that may occur. Maintain inventories and order medications or supplies as needed. Perform cholesterol, full lipid panel, hemoglobin A1C, and diabetes screenings. Kish Ambulance Advanced Emergency Medical Technician October, 2007 - Present Provide advanced life support for ill and injured patients according to EMT-I protocol. Monitor vitals and give treatment to patients for transport to medical facilities. Start intravenous therapy, give medications, and cardiac monitoring for life-threatening medical conditions. Work with fire departments, police departments, and hospital medical direction in emergency situations.
