ORDER
In partial modification to the Government Order read as 4th paper above,
Government are pleased to order as follows.
1. The rate of special pay will be as equal to 3 increments in the current
level of pay (higher start). Accordingly the special pay of the
following posts will be modified as follows:

2. The difference between the revised basic pay on merger of Common
Special Allowance and the maximum of the master scale (i.e., ~ 5 9 8 4 0 )
in respect of Director and Additional Director/ Chief Consultant will
be protected as personal pay.
3. There is no ban on allowing existing PG Degree/Diploma Allowance,
Charge Allowance, Specialist Allowance and Senior Specialist
Allowance to Doctors belonging to General Cadre in Health Services
Department.
4. Rural Area Allowance and Casualty Allowance will be granted
simultaneously.
5. All Medical Officers coming under the purview of Government Order
read as 4th paper above will be allowed to exercise revised option to
the 9th Pay Revision.
6. Those Medical Officers who enjoyed time bound higher grade/non-
cadre promotion shall be eligible for special pay at the rate as
applicable to the corresponding promotion posts.
