DEAR CHURCH
John 1 MSG The Word became flesh and blood and moved into our neighbourhood . We saw the glory with our own eyes. The one of a kind glory, like Father like son: generous inside and out; true from start to finish! How amazing was the birth of Jesus Christ on planet Earth; Gods love and redemption coming into play! This Christmas and New Year is a great time to celebrate in many ways. If you have become filled with faith in Jesus be loud this year in celebration that you have received the free gift of salvation. As someone once said, Being a private Christian is like trying to hide the moon and stars at night. In Perth this is an impossibility as they can be seen in all their glory most nights of the year! A true believer can also not hide Jesus, He will be seen. So as we head into 2013, remember, it is our time to shine for Him. Lets plan that 2013 will be a year of sharing with others the goodness of God. Gods priority has not changed in 2000 years, it is still the salvation of all men. People may never read a Bible but they are reading us! I believe that we are called to bring life and encouragement to our community in 2013. Once again, together we can do it! Dont hide it , lets share it. In doing so many people are going to be freed and find their true purpose for living! We really wish you and your friends and family a truly blessed, safe and refreshing time throughout Christmas. May 2013 be a year of great impact and significance. With Love and Best Wishes

Dear Girlfriends,
it is always a pleasure to serve God through loving & helping the people he loves so completely! i want to extend a Big thank-you to all the Gods Girls who graciously helped with the crche & catering for the Department of Child Protection events that were recently held at our Globalheart Church venue. Your sacrifice of time & effort was a tremendous blessing to the local community. Congratulations also to Ps Lauren & the Gods Girls team for hosting a fabulous Pink Pamper Party to raise awareness & funds for the Cancer Council WA. not only was it a well attended & fun local outreach event but Gods Girls raised $1,000 towards breast cancer research!!! We were also delighted that so many of our Globalheart family were able to contribute their time to help to join with other churches from around WA to raise awareness & money during a Walk for Freedom on behalf of A21 on the South Perth foreshore on Saturday 20th October. it was a fabulous morning; a terrific expression of unity for our state & a whopping $20,000 was raised to help address the urgent issue of people trafficking. As we finish up the final school term for 2012, can i ask Gods Girls to consider purchasing a gift for the children of our WA women who are currently in the local prison unable to Christmas shop for their children. We have a Christmas tree with detailed labels on it at tuesday Gods Girls to help you choose an age appropriate gift for Gods Girls to deliver as a blessing to Outcare . thank you for your ongoing generosity as, together We Are Stronger!

Testimonies of Transformation
What a joy to know Jesus as Lord and saviour and to have experienced his mercy and grace upon our lives over this past 2.5 years. the reason for writing now is that i have reached 6 months post the explant operation (removing heart pump) and have just returned from a significant Royal Perth hospital (RPh) review. the Lord graciously blessed me with his peace throughout the entire experience and while i was confident that i would recover, it still has been a relief to reach this significant point and get the RPh tick. My heart is pounding away great, and has maintained its restored normal size and shape. All my blood statistics and organ function and a range of other indicators are classed as normal which is amazing... Praise God. RPh continues to be stunned at what has happened - it is beyond rare. Doctors marvel at how a heart on ventricular assist device pump life support for 770 days can recover and be successfully explanted. From an unexpected diagnosis of end stage severe heart failure, two rounds of open heart surgery, being placed on and off the heart transplant list, just missing out on a transplant (thank God )and endless other trials... to then recover, feel fit and have a normal functioning heart... my own heart... is, i am sure you would agree, a pretty wild ride. My physical heart has survived two rounds of major open heart surgery, being cut open, patched and stitched up, placed on extended bi-pass twice, drugged, electrocuted into action, manhandled... literally, repeatedly exercise stressed to the maximum and has come through the impact of a complex stroke. i thank God for his amazing grace, mercy and wonderful design. Many churches prayed corporately and in small groups for myself,and family during our time of crisis. Please pass onto your church our very sincere appreciation for the prayers and support of our family and that this support was deeply appreciated. Steve and Jennifer Sharp

I have enjoyed socially connecting with great people and having fun! Urban lets us have time out from normal everyday life. We are able get to know people outside of church and make new friends.

I enjoy the companionship and activities that I would not normally do on my own. You are never too old to make new friends. When moving to Perth we found that Energize was a great way for us to meet new people who had similiar interests.
