Versatility: My passion for sports, culture, social work and art is always never-ending; as is my zeal and enthusiasm towards

my professional and academic development. It has never been too difficult for me to handle two or more roles at the same time and perform better than expected in each role. Whether it being leading the class cricket team to victory on the same day as winning a debate competition or getting involved in large scale NGO projects while pursuing my engineering career. Self motivation drives me toward being efficient, which in effect, allows me to adapt quickly to the task at hand and emerge victorious!!! Achievement: I have always led myself to believe that achievement should not necessarily be a benchmark defined by others but should most importantly be defined by one self. Whether it being: winning the battle you never thought you can win , overcoming your worst fears and finishing the tasks you thought to be the most difficult. This drove me towards winning college level debate competitions, organizing large scale events for International Student organizations like IEEE, grow from being a marketing volunteer to a marketing head for the college IEEE chapter, championing College/school teams to victory in different sports, serve as the Board of Director for an NGO (Giants International, Powai) overseeing the successful implementation of large scale community service programs like Blood donation Camps, Tree Plantation drives etc.... and much more. I hate limiting myself to areas that harness just my strengths. On the contrary, I constantly seek to broaden my ken and capabilities beyond the obvious. This has helped me accrue accolades in different fields and areas. Academic Achievement: Everywhere around me, I have witnessed technology change lives of people for better. I therefore wanted to be an agent of this change and make a mark in this world. I was always attracted to the world of electronics. I therefore worked zealously towards successful completion of a Degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Mumbai . As an engineer, I learned that Castles cannot be constructed without proper tools. Development is not about being the best its about realizing where you can be better. My final year engineering project was to use our knowledge of the design process and mechanics to design an intelligent prosthetic hand. The function of the prosthetic hand was to perform all useful tasks that the human hand can, thereby providing the amputees an opportunity to perform important task without much effortThe final outcome was the design of a rapid prototyped hand whose grasping ability was confirmed. . The immense sense of satisfaction I derived when I could complete this project within the stipulated time and all by myself was great. After becoming an engineer, I now constantly challenge myself to acquire skills in business and management. A Post Graduate Diploma in Management from SP Jain will help me move forward in my career and realize my goals.

Extra Curricular Activities: On the co-curricular and extracurricular front, I have compiled an impressive set of accomplishments. The IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, USA) College Chapter had entrusted me with the job of editing its yearly Technical magazine Connections during my junior year in college. Because of my work as an Editor, I developed a critical eye for reading scientific literature and an appreciation for the ways in which the scientific community interacts to share information. I also served as an IEEE marketing volunteer for the same period. My job was to interact with the corporate world and garner sponsorship and support for college events. Also, I took up the initiative of organizing an IEEE Industrial visits to different parts of the country for Students and the college Faculty. In appreciation of my work for the college IEEE chapter, I was appointed as the Marketing Head and was entrusted with the responsibility of leading the IEEE marketing team. I have also been a keen debater,an active sportperson and an athlete at the school and college level.

In my graduation years I held the position of Marketing Head and Editor,IEEE, for the period 2006-07 and 2007-08 respectively.
