Nuclear Energy

Time Line

This is some of the time line I have been researching and getting some in the book
1789|Martin Klaporth, a German chemist, discovers uranium 1895|Wilhelm Rountgen discovers X-Ray 1896|Marie and Pierre curie discovers radio activity 1898|Marie and Pierre curie discovers radium 1934|Enrico Fermi make a breakthrough in understanding nuclear power 1938|Otto Hahn and Fritz strassman demonstrate nuclear fision 1942|Enrico Fermi demonstrate a nuclear chain reactor 1945|Nuclear weapons are used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan 1954|U.S.S Nautilus the first nuclear submarine is launched 1956|First nuclear power plant begins operating in the UK 1962|First ship to run on nuclear energy is launched 1979|Three mile island nuclear power plant near Harrisburg,Pennsylvannia,USA suffers a partical meltdown 1986|Chernobyl Nuclear reactor in the Ukraine suffers a meltdown, Radioactive waste is released into air 1991|China completes its first nuclear power plants.

Inside of the atom

Atom has Proton,Neutron and electron inside it. Proton is the and Neutron is the + Electron move around the neutron and proton to create energy in it and electrons are also flying on the wire cable that send electric to other Building so electron are really important to make electricity inside the Atom.

Nuclear power diagram

This is the Diagram of the nuclear power how it sent and how it work The control rods are the uranium and the uranium heat the water then the water will turn to steam and it go up to the steam line and the steam line will turn the Turbine but when the turbine turns the generator will make electricity and the electric will send to the wire to give power to the other building. Its very complicated to do all these work so thats why these water that turns to steam will automatically go to the colling tower and it will sent the the pressurize water again and It will just keep on doing the same thing.

Nuclear Reactor/Meltdown
Reactor

Nuclear reactor can impact a huge meltdown with no coolant so thats why when the put the uranium inside Meltd own that control rods, that control rods need to have coolant cells so in any time the uranium will not go to hot and explode the nuclear reactor because nuclear can cause a huge impact the the country.

This is the pie chart of the most used for nuclear reactor. Nuclear-> 1% Hydro power-> 13% Other-> 5% Gas Turbine-> 5% Fossil Steam-> 62%.

Past invention and modern invention

The past invention to create energy from the reactors is used from the thirdgenerator reactors and nuclear power plants uses heat to released the fission to split apart and create another fusion. This is the picture about the fission and the fusion
The modern invention is also same as this but the past have some sub marine nuclear power plant underwater to get coolent on the reactor and when the nuclear reactor meltdown it wont be a huge explosion thats why they put it underwater but now they build the reactor on land to easily transport energy to another place.

THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!!!!

Research all by Oscar Evans and thank you for watching hope you rate it 5/5. just kidding hope you have fun listening to my presentation
