It is actually about the hotel prices seeing generally downward trend almost all across Europe, if various facts and figures on the internet are to be believed. The average hotel prices have come down by nearly 18% in the last two months, from 105 and 99 in September and October respectively, to an average of 86 in the month of November, for an overnight stay. This is so far the cheapest rate since January 2012. So if you are ready to shell out an average of 111 this November for a nights stay, you can easily plan your vacation to UK. It was a good idea not to plan the vacation sooner or else you would have ended up paying around 119 in October. But the decrease in hotel prices in the UK is not as marked as rest of Europe. Reports suggest that while UKs average hotel price per night has fallen only by average 7 in comparison to October and September, hotel prices in Europe have dropped by an average of 19!

Prices have shown varying trends within UK. While the general trend has been to experience a drop, the only place showing a considerable boost in November is Cardiff with prices up by almost 8% to an average of 91 per night as compared to last month. Hotel prices are down in other places across the UK as compared to November 2011, including a significant change in London where hotel prices are cheaper 9% to an average of 161 per night. Talking about the major European cities, hotel prices in over 45 cities have seen a plunge in comparison to the month of October. by 41% reaching an average of 112 per night. Some other major cuts this month in comparison with the month of October have been experienced in Rome which was down 31% to an average of 92 per night, Budapest, down 26% to 54, Barcelona, reduced 24% to 91, Paris which was cheaper 23% to 132, Prague being down 21% to 71, Istanbul lesser 21% to 96, and Madrid which was down 20% to 79.
