Poem Glog Statement The journey of my poem reflects a figurative contrast of Baby A and Baby B, which is shown through

symbolism, similes, and metaphors. Symbolism represents something more than whats just said or shown. For example, the pearl symbolizes the value of the day of my birth, when I was born three minutes before my look alike. Figurative language is also presented when I mentioned how I represent myself by saying ...fragile as a delicate flower, meaning Im flimsy and dont handle hardships strongly. Finally, figurative language is used through out my poem and used correctly. Metaphor is used when I speak, again, about the precious pearl, because Im comparing my birth with a pearl that is cherished and beyond important. The journey explained in my poem is the essentials of developing my own identity because I do have different dreams from my twin, Morgan. First, the journey begins with a baby being born but with a twist of having another a baby also being birth. Later, I reveal the hopes and dreams I wish to accomplish and also my personality; which is the opposite of Morgans. Finally, I describe the future life I hope to achieve and blessed with and also mention what young lady she has matured into, Cleopatra. Primarily, the theme is distinguish; meaning the difference between my twin and myself. The main theme I identified in my poem was contrast between Baby A and Baby B like an object having the identical look but the material (inside) isnt the same, its not symmetrical. The attributes I decided to use for my poem are to enhance the concept of my poem by adding music and pictures. Also, by adding my past, present, and future that are similarities but a difference. The images and music of my choice connects with my poem because it adds a tone and emotion for the audience. Not only does the attributes contribute to the tone and emotion but also the mood. The mood I achieved was a feeling of triumph, how it first felt to have two babies at a surprising moment.
