Advantages

The yellow and black stripes on a bees body act as camouflage, and make it harder to see. The stinger helps protect the bee from predators. Honeybees have fur on their body that pollen clings to as they move from flower to flower. In the summer Honeybees beat their wings quickly to keep the nest and the queen cool. In the winter months Honeybees form a cluster, and move slowly to keep warm.

Honeybees help pollinate flowers and crops. Honey bees create honey which has many important uses. Honey is used for cooking, and making things taste good! Honey is used to prevent infection and heal wounds. Honey contains many minerals and nutrients that are good for your body. Honeybees create beeswax, which is used to make many things. Beeswax is used to make candles, skin care products, and make-up.
