As the end of 2012 draws near, Grandpa (Boompah, or Opa) and Grandma (Nanny) It's time to greet you

and to spread some cheer. Adrian's and my health has been great; He continues to stay thin, and I gain the weight! After four decades of teaching, we steadfastly move on. Teaching children of former students makes us wonder where time has gone. Our college choir traveled south in the spring. It was fun to visit Aaron and Amy's church and have a short fling. Judson and Adrianna enjoyed all the visitors and several rides on the bus Tony, Amy, Kody, Dawson, and Autumn When it came time for goodbyes, it was hard not to fuss. Van Manen We enjoyed keeping Jack and Emma every Wednesday afternoon. That privilege ended all too soon. The news hit us at a Sunday dinner in early May. The Nelson family was moving away. Two weeks later to Idaho they did depart, Taking with them part of our hearts. It's back to no grandchildren living near; Of course Grandma frequently sheds a tear. The Bible teaches you reap what you sow. Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny and Bonnie We did a similar thing to our parents when we left Idaho. Consford Although the Lord directs our paths in different ways, The fact that all of our offspring are serving the Lord really pays. Tony and Dawson made a fun visit to Oklahoma in early July. We enjoyed the fellowship; however, time did fly. The next visitor crossed many lines of longitude and latitude. To Joes family for sending Laura home we express our gratitude. Laura was able to squeeze much into a short amount of time. Besides visiting in Oklahoma, Texas, and Idaho, she enjoyed shopping sublime. Her family in Africa were glad to have her back. Three weeks apart was nearly all they could hack. Aaron, Amy, Judson, and Adrianna Weido We spent the last two weeks of July in Idaho; Visiting our mothers, siblings, children, and grandchildren kept us on the go. When Tony and Amy were taking us to the airport for our return trip, They gave us some news that made us want to flip! After eighteen years of marriage and raising three beloved, adopted children, God is allowing them to have one of their ownAmen! Grandchild #13 (a girl) will join the family in March, 2013. Grandchild #12, Tessa Michelle Nelson, on August 15, 2012 made the scene. She was born in Idaho to David and Emily two weeks after we departed. David, Emily, Jack, Emma and Tessa Not being able to see her caused us to be down-hearted. Nelson On our 42nd anniversary we got news from the Weidos that grandchild #14 is on the way; That little guy (keeps us even--7 girls, 7 boys) will arrive in May!! God has truly blessed our family; It's exciting these new additions to see! Adrian made a quick trip to Idaho in November to sing; He also got to beat me in meeting the newest grandchild--what an exciting thing! Adrian's college choir, though small in number, a big challenge did seek. They did a fine job with Handel's Messiah last week. As far as we know, Sharon, Cole, and Brianna will be our only Christmas cheer. Cole, Sharon and Brianna We can hardly wait for them to appear. Crownover Keep Christ in Christmas and make sure of His saving grace. The Lord and family should definitely take first place. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Love A & B (TALES)
