It encompasses the determination of the field of research, outlining of the research plan and working out the justification for the subject of study chosen by each participant, plus a discussion of the different methodologies and instruments to use through the research process. V.- METHODOLOGY This course will be developed in a workshop fashion. Groups or individual students will be assigned topics to be read, analyzed and defended in class. Each participant must present a written report on the process of building the thesis proposal. The professor will promote discussion to then criticize, suggest or give specific hints or conclusions. VI.- LEARNING RESOURCES Computers,books,dictionaries,multimedia projector,ecran,internet, IPod, MP3, CD,etc. VII.- ASSESSMENT & GRADING POLICY Evaluation will be permanent, formative and summative according to the following criteria: a) Class contributions based on lectures, students works and readings.40% b) Presentation and defense of research proposal........60%
