Closetheboltonetime.Areddotontopofthestrikerknobwillsignifythattheguniscockedandreadytofire.

ToFire

HowtoUnload

WiththesafetyonSAFE,andtheriflepointedinasafedirection,opentheboltandejecttheloadedcartridgefromthechamber.Withthebolt stillopen,removetheclipmagazine,anddonotreinsertituntilyouarereadytoshootagain. WARNING:Completelyopenandfullyclosetheboltseveralmoretimestobecertainthatthechamberandfeedmechanismareempty. Finally,inspectinteriorofreceivervisually.Leavetheboltintheopenposition.

WhattodoifRifleFailstoFire

1.Misfires:Ifyousqueezethetriggerandthecartridgedoesnotfire,remainintheshootingpositionandcountto10.Thenoperatetheboltto ejectthemisfiredcartridgefromthegun. 2.UnderpoweredShot:Anunderpoweredcartridgeisunusualiftheammunitionisfresh,clean,andfactoryloaded.However,ifyouhearan unusualsoundorlowreport,youshouldstopimmediatelyandproceedasfollows: WARNING:Becausethebulletmayactuallystillbeinthebarrel,youmustunloadcompletelyandthen,withtheboltremoved,lookthrough thebarrelfromthebreechendtoseeifthereisanyobstruction.Ifthereis,itshouldberemovedbyaqualifiedgunsmith.

Sighting

Yourriflewaspre-sightedatthefactory.However,duetoindividualsightingcharacteristics,minoradjustmentsmaybenecessary.Always ensuretherifleispointedinasafedirection.PuttherifleonSAFEandraisetheboltbeforemakinganysightchanges. 1.HorizontalCorrection(windage):Toadjustthepointofimpact,loosenthedovetailscrewuntilyoucanmovethesightmanually.Tomove thepointofimpacttotheleft,movetherearsightbasetotheleft. Tomovethepointofimpacttotheright,movetherearsightbasetotheright.Adjustmentscanbemadebygentlytappingthedovetailportion oftherearsightinthedesireddirection.Re-tightenthescrewandfireagain.Continuethisprocessuntilyourshotsarehorizontallyzeroed-in.
