Jewel virgin is providing a wide range of jewellery to the customers from the price of 30 to the price of 1500.it has mainly four types of jewellery mainly virgin gold, silver, pearls and fashions. It is made according to the necessity of the customers in the market. the environment analysis shows that the political, economic, social, technological, environmental and legal system in Ireland is good to start and flourish a new business in Ireland. The market analysis is showing that the Ireland is giving opportunities to start a new business in this land. The customer analysis is showing that, the taste of customers is changing all the time. customers are expecting for a new and different types of designer jewelleries. the jewel virgin is making an Indian designer jewellery and it is then marketing in to Ireland. All the production and packaging is done in India. the products are then shipped to Ireland and is distributed and selling in Ireland. In Ireland wee have around five shops in different places. The business is planned to start on October 1st 2009. The main products are virgin gold, which is providing different types of gold jewellery. This is the one with the Indian designs. It is a mix of both Indian and Irish designs. So it will give good designer jewellery. the virgin silver will give a good collection of silver jewellery with lots of Indian designs. This is a replication of the same designs of the gold jewellery. the virgin pearls is the next products which gives a wide range of good quality pearl ornaments. This

will also be available in gold and silver. Finally the virgin jewellery will give the fashion jewellery with different colours and designs which is matching for the dresses. This is the one we are most concentrated towards. As this jewellery will be the most trendiest jewellery. we are always changing the designs, with the change in the trends and the fashions we are always changing our designs as well. This will give a better image in the market. We are offering excellent services to the customers. We are concentrated towards the customer services. our company is not charging any cost for resizing the jewellery, altering any faulty jewellery and restring the pearls etc. usually the jewelleries are charging for these, but we are not charging for any services that we are providing to them. We are providing a well efficient mix of both Indian and irish people. this will give a better understanding if the customer needs and providing it to the customers. At the moment we are not providing the e- business after flourishing these business we will do the e-business as well.

III PROJECT OUTLINE: General description of the proposed business: Jewel Virgin, this name itself is saying that our jewellery is always virgin to you. This is a virgin the market, because all the designs of these jewellery is new. It is made in india according to choice of the European people. this jewellery is oriented towards the people above the age 16 year. The jewellery which is made in india is then expoting to Ireland and is distributing in different branches in Ireland. We are now going to start 5 branches in stephens green, Dundrum, Belfast, rathfarnham and donnybrook. We are planning to start the business by October 1st. This will give a ground for our business before Christmas. Even if there is any problem in the business we can alter it before

Christmas. Christmas is the time were people buy lots of jewellery as gifts. So the introduction of the business by this time will give a chance to florish in the land of Ireland. The introduction of this business in this time will give the chance for advertisements. This is the time were people try for new gifts to give it to there children , parents colleges, lovers etc. this will also gives a boost up for the company as well. the main products of the jewel virgin are virgin gold, silver, virgin pearls and fashions. OPERATING PROFILE: The company is mainly operating in Ireland, but all the products are exporting from India to Ireland. The main production, designing, packaging and all is done in India. Only the selling of the products is done in Ireland. The products are shipping to Ireland in such a way as it will go directly to the shelves of the stores. The jewellery designs are made in Ireland, it is made by goldsmith in india. The Indian designs have mainly two types of designs mainly the north Indian and the south Indian designs. We are making both north and south Indian designs. After the production of the jewellery it is then packed properly to export and then directly to the stores. Our main head office is in Dublin, so we are storing the jewellery in Ireland. Then it is going to all the different branches in Ireland. We are distributing the products in Ireland by our own employees. the profit of the business is mainly concentrated towards Ireland as the tax rate

So we are targeting the major size of customers in the market. the customers are mainly looking for good quality products. if they like the products to an extent they are not worried about the price of the products. they are willing to pay a considerable amount of money for the good quality products. for the fashionable jewelleries like the one which is matching for the dress at a price of 30to 60, people are not expecting for a good quality. They are mainly buying this for an event mainly for parties. But the expensive products like, gold, silver and pearls for which the customers are ready to pay a higher price. For these products the customers are expecting a very good quality. Mostly people are buying this as gifts, or may for using it as a regular jewellery. mainly almost all the customers love to have a simple and unique designs. They are ready to accept a new designer jewellery to their jewellery boxes. In Ireland the customers are mainly buying the jewellery to give as a gift and to wer it for them selves. Special gift rapping, 28 day refund and exchange policies and a wide range of products to the customers. All these will keep the customers happy. Attention given to the customers is another important factor. In the jewellery the employees have to make proper attention as well they have to provide the perfect jewellery that they want. So the competitors are mainly providing a lage number of staffs in the counters to make them satisfied. The competitors are alwys doing market research to know the changing attitude, taste and needs of the customers. With the change in the needs and wants of the customers they are changing their products and services to the customers. MARKET AND MARKETING STRATEGY OF THE BUSINESS: The target market is ladies from the age of 15 onwards. Jewel virgin segmented the customers on the basis of their age. We have segmented it on the basis of the ages as these age group of people are more liable to buy jewellery. it is not abig difference on the basis of geographical segmentation, because whole business is

targeting the people of Europe. So the target is segmented on the basis of demography of the people in Europe as a whole. Pricing :We can say the price of the product is in the moderate level as a whole. But while considering the different products that we are providing to the customers the pricing strategy will be different. For Virgin silver and gold we can say that the pricing strategy will be moderate, but while comparing with the competitors jewellery price the price of the products will be low. Mostly the silver and gold jewellery in Ireland is very expensive. As we are exporting from India the customers can get a good quality products at a lower price when compared to other competitors in the market. while considering the virgin pearls it will comes under high price. Pearls is one the expensive materials. We are providing a high quality pearls the cost will also be high. Virgin fashions is providing jewellery at a low price from 30 euro to 100. Here we are targeting a customer who can spend a low level of money on their products. in this types of jewellery the customers are tring to find jewellery to match a dress or to wear it only for one or two occasions. Even if the customers are not expecting for a very high quality products, we are tring to provide them a good quality product at this price. This will keep them satisfied with our production. Even if the price of the products is low this will help to increase the profit as well as a base for selling other jewelleries as well. Promotion: We are mainly promoting our business by giving advertisement in magazines and also in the internet. As all our shops are woking as different concessions i house of Fraser and different shopping centres, we can get a good chance to advertise our jewellery in different magazines with the products in the same shops. As the customers has already interested in the magazines it will give a

wider chance to get the attention of the customers. The next best way is to grab the attention through internet. The wide use of the internet by the young generation and the older person gives a chance for wider exposure of our products and serives to the customers. we are providing discounts of 10% to the regular customers. By the time of Christmas we are providing special offers which includes discounts, gifts, buy one get one free etc. there will be special advertising in the magazines and newspapers to get a very good promotion to the products in the market. All the services providing by the company is free, the repairs for the jewellery will be free to the customers. Customer satisfaction: we are also providing a very high level of customer satisfaction. For that we are providing a very well talented mix of both Indian and irish people in our counters. Even if there is any quires with regard to the products or services providing by us the customers can get our employees on the spot to solve their problems. The customer service representative will try to maintain a good flow between the customers and our services. we are providing a very good after sales services. The customers have the option to get a refund or an exchange for the products within 28 days if they dont like it. We are not even charging for resizing, restringing of the people etc. usually the competitors are charging money for all these. All the repairs for our jewellery will be alwys free for the customers. But we are giving as a free service. We are ready to give a 10% reduction for our regular customers. It always depends on how often the customers are buying the products from us. We are always providing the customers the special orders with in two weeks time. If the customers want any of the jewellries in bulk we are ready to give them that with in the time period of two weeks. we are also providing special training for our customers to maintain the standard of the services providing by the company.

Distribution; The products are first made in India and then it is shipped from India to Ireland. These products are in such a stage as it can go directly to the shops selves. The products are distributing in Ireland by our own distributors as we have only very few shops in Ireland the whole products are distributing by our own distributors now. All the products are stored first in the main office in Ireland. On the basis of the orders given by different shops the whole products are distributed on the basis of that. So we will get the chance to send it to our own shops within a short span of time. On the basis of the sales of our products we are planning to send our products from India to Ireland within the time span of two weeks. we have a special marketing channel for our producers, we are only selling the jewellery in our own counters , we are not providing it to other stores. We are expecting that if we are sending the products to different stores it will create problems the products will be the same but the services providing to the customers will not be the same. It will affect the reputation our company. so we are selling it only in our own counters with our own services.

HUMAN RESOURCE;We are considering our employees as the back bone of the business. We have employees both in India as well as Ireland. The employees in india is doing the manufacturing process, the packaging etc. our employees in Ireland is selling our products to the end customers and they are maintain the customer satisfaction in one way. Our employees in india is also providing customer satisfaction by providing good quality products to the customers. the people who are working in the head office is alos important as they are managing the

sales, distribution and marketing of the business. We are also providing a good mix of the Indian and Irish employees in our counters. As they are the people who are selling a combination of both india and irish designer jewellery to the European people. so a better understanding of the people and their need is very important as they are people who are selling with our end customers.they will have a good idea of the taste of the customers. we are planning to provide a maximum of three employees in each counter and have five employees in the head office. One person in charge if the selling and distribution of the products, the second one is doing the financial services, the third person is doing the staffing the payment of the employees. the fourth person is doing the marketing of the products. finally the fifth person is doing the overall running of the business. While considering the employee level in India. Only in the first three months we are outsourcing goldsmith to do the work. We are out sourcing around 20 extra people to do the production of the jewellery. but we have a constant number of 10 goldsmith who are doing our regular works. All these people are the experts in our business. The main designs of the jewellery is done by both the designers and the goldsmith together. So we have a large number of employees in both Ireland and india.

FINANACIAL: Finance is the life blood of the business. The major portion of the finance in the business is from outside investors and government, grand. The major portion of the money is from the investors. There are mainly two people who is investing in the business. Each person need the 25% of the shares from the business. The government is providing grants for stating a business in Ireland. By April 1st 2008 the government is providing capital allowances to the start up companies. They can claim a 100% capital allowances on the first 50,000

About 20% of the money is used for shipping and distribution of the products in Ireland. The remaining 10% is used as the remuneration for the employees. About 5% of total money is used as a advertising the products. The remaining 15% can be used as a reserve to mange if there are any urgent necessities.
