Character Designer for Flash Animated Series (Pre-Production Artist)

DIGITOONZ - INDIA, is an international animation studio based in NOIDA (Delhi NCR), which has produced more than 100 hours of animated childrens shows for its worldwide client. We are also proud to employ a team of around 60 top artists, animators and others. We are currently seeking experienced Character Designers to join our team. The Character Designer (for Flash Animation) will be responsible to create the designs of main and secondary characters according to the style of the production. In such a fast-paced environment with large volume of production work on the go, the ideal candidates must be organized team players who are capable of keeping track of all tasks and have a good sense of humor. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 1. Ensuring the character designs are suitable in function and form for the locations and props; 2. Placing all designs along with locations/props to show accurate size comparisons and relation; 3. Working with Art Director / Project Manager to create engaging and performable characters; 4. Organizing and managing own work and files efficiently; 5. Other tasks and responsibilities as requested and for the completion of theproject. Qualified candidates will have the following skill sets and experience/ education: 1. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills; 2. Be a proactive thinker with creative problem-solving skills; 3. Be a detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills; 4. Ability to apply flexibility to work; 5. Previous experience in a production environment; 6. Experience in Flash, is a definite asset; 7. Their designs show a strong understanding of proportion, balance, perspective,dimension and dynamism.
