Theres a zombie on your lawn. If they manage to get into your house then youre done for. The zombies will take your brains out and eat it. You dont have any guns, grenades, or bazookas. What do you do now? The wise move for you would be to plant a pea-shooter plant on your lawn. PopCap Games released Plants vs. Zombies in the year 2009. Its a tower defense arcade game. Although this game is rated E-10+ by Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), it is found to be popular among people of all age. Young ones play it on their home computer, and not so young ones sometimes play it on their office computer on their leisure time. The game is popular because of its great sense of humor and how ridiculous the characters are. Sunshine in the basic energy of the plants; it can also be gathered quickly by planting sunflowers. The initial collection of weapons available are pea-shooters and cherry-bombs. Each time a level is completed youll get a new plant to use for defending your house. First the zombies are stupid and slow, but eventually as you go up the levels youll find smarter and faster ones which includes Dancing Zombies, Polevault Zombie, Yeti, and many more. First youve to clear the lawn from zombies; then they start coming through the back yard; finally, they get smarter and climb on the roof. The game is played either in daylight or at night. Obviously at night there are less sources of sunlight thus, its more difficult. At night sometimes there are fogs to make things worse. Other than Adventure mode there are Survival mode and Puzzles. Survival mode is played on different levels, terrains, and weather conditions. In Puzzles there are several different humorous games. Among them my favorite is iZombie Puzzle where you get to be the zombie who needs to get past the defenses to eat the brains on the other side of the lawn. The last and main attraction of this game is ZomBoss, the one who gave life to all the zombies. I wont say anything more about him or else all the fun will be ruined. Other than gameplay there is a neighbor named Crazy Dave. The name says it all. He gives crazy ideas to beat the incoming waves of zombies. You can also buy crazy stuffs from his shop to use in the game. There is a Zen Garden where you can nurture plants and sell them to earn extra gold. I find all the aspects of this game appealing to the audience. Its a small game with many features and gameplay packed in a nutshell. Thats not all, Plants vs. Zombies also has a catchy theme song which goes like this:

Plants vs. Zombies own several awards including the Game of the Year: 2009 award. Its popularity exceeds so much that Plants vs. Zombies board game was made in the year 2011. I honestly dont find any parts of this game repelling to me. If youre someone who play games regularly, or just sitting in the office with nothing to do then you must play this game right now.
