Description of Item
Providing and fixing chicken mesh jali 15 cm wide between the junction of RCC and brick work before the plastering work with necessary nails or screws complete as per the direction of Engineerin-charge. Supply and fixing in position CI covers with frames for RCC water storage tanks up to floor five level of size 455 mm x 610 mm rectangular shape (medium duty) the weight of frame should be 10 Kg. (Total weight 25 Kg) including locking arrangement with MS flat 50 x 6 mm all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and fixing GI pipe spout having 25mm dia and 30 cm length, champhere at outer edge at balconies, sunken floors etc. Making connection of GI distribution branch with GI main of following sizes by providing and fixing tee including cutting and threading the pipe etc. complete. (a) 50 to 80 mm nominal bore. Making connection of drain or sewer line with existing manhole including breaking into and making good the walls, floors with cement concrete 1:2:4 mix (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) cement plastered on both sides (a) For pipes 100 to 230 mm diameter. (b) Neat cement punning. Providing and laying cement concrete 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand : 10 graded brick aggregate 40 mm nominal size) in all floor and at all levels of sunken RCC floors.

In the all footpaths constructed during Phase-A Chequerred precast CC tiles have been used. And considering this aspects alongwith the cost and quality comparision with the 1:2:4 during the site visit of SE, GCC on 07.08.2008, it was decided that the chequerred precast tiles may be used. There was no provision of such tiles in the agreement. Hence, extra item.
