EMRO Focus Projects Call for Coordinators 2012-13

IPSF EMRO in his new dresses this year hoping to launch his focus projects which include two main projects: Ask Your Pharmacist campaign (AYP) and Health Awareness Day (HAD). In order to prepare and then run AYP & HAD projects, IPSF EMRO is seeking to recruit one coordinator for each project or one coordinator to held the both projects AYP & HAD together in each member association. If you are interested in a particular Sub-Committee position listed here, you should submit the Completed nomination form to the EMRO Secretary (secretary@emro.ipsf.org) before the deadline for applications. For AYP project the following criteria should be met by the applicant to be appointed by the president of the association: 1. Undergraduate pharmacy student (who studied pharmacology or clinical pharmacy in the university or had any other courses on it) or fresh graduate students. 2. Having excellent communication skills and leading skills.

3. Have the ability to cooperate with other in the region in order to helping in exchange the knowledge and experiences. 4. Had good experience in organizing or participating in public health campaign. 5. Good reporting skills. 6. Regular Internet access. The coordinator should fulfill the following tasks: 1. Collaborative preparation of the campaign kit. 2. Regional registration of the volunteers from each member association. 3. Training well the volunteers to conduct the campaign. 4. National and local promotion in cooperation with each association. 5. Issuing a report from each member association in collaboration with their CP. 6. Ensure the evaluations will be conducted using online spreadsheets to ascertain that the aims and objectives of the events were met. For HAD project the following criteria should be met by the applicant: 1. Undergraduate pharmacy students or recent graduate. 2. Good communication skills in treating the children in order to take their attention. 3. Had good experience in organizing or participating in children campaign.

4. Good reporting skills. 5. Regular Internet access. The coordinator should fulfill the following tasks: 1. Collaborative preparation of the campaign kit. 2. Regional registration of the volunteers from each member association. 3. Training well the volunteers to conduct the campaign. 4. National and local promotion in cooperation with each association. 5. Issuing a report from each member association in collaboration with their CP. 6. Ensure the evaluations will be conducted using online spreadsheets to ascertain that the aims and objectives of the events were met.
