THE MALLARD
The most familiar of all ducks, the Mallard has become synonymous with American lakes and recreation. The Mallard by MossCreek is designed to be a familiar and comforting design that speaks to the great American pastime of lake recreation. The exterior of the Mallard features stone and wood, porthole windows, arced cellar vents, bark siding and even a paddle over the front porch. The interior features a main level complete with a Master Suite, an open kitchen-dining-great area with vaulted beamed ceilings, and laundry. The upper level of the Mallard features two bedrooms, bath and a study. Natural colors and materials make the Mallard a great home for Americas lake living. MAIN FLOOR: 1,192 S.F. On June 11, 1936, ground was broken for the Timberline Lodge in Northwest Oregon. Built entirely by hand, inside and out, the building is a tribute to the skills and spirit of a 36nation. The Timberline Camp by MossCreek employs the same hand-made spirit that the crafts people of the 30s utilized, a spirit which captured the uniqueness of a time where skill was the greatest attribute. This design includes 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, with a master bedroom on the main level. A large story-and-a-half vaulted Great Room with exposed log trusses and an open Kitchen/Dining room complete a dramatic interior. The Pintail is a waterfowl that is at home almost anywhere in the world that there is water. This highly migratory bird is quick to adapt to any aquatic environment. The Pintail by MossCreek is similarly at home in any natural water setting. The exterior is rich with natural materials such as stone and wood. It even features a cupola with weather vane. Porthole windows and an arced cellar vent complete a lake aesthetic. On the interior the Pintail features a master suite on the main level along with the well known MossCreek living triangle of open kitchen-dining-great room areas. A large screened outdoor living porch on the rear of home is great for relaxing in the outdoors free from the nuisance of insects. The upper level features two spacious guest rooms and a bath. For thousands of years, Natives Americans across North America used cattails, other grasses, and rushes to make oating decoys to lure waterfowl. Today, Cree Indians around the northern Great Lakes continue this tradition by making standing goose decoys from exible tamarack sticks. This ingenious use of natural materials to create an alluring appearance can also be found in the Decoy by MossCreek. Our 38 design features stone, true log veneer, poplar bark siding new and antique red pine siding. The interior is entered via an open glass gallery that looks out over the outdoor living and the view beyond. One right turn and you enter into a spacious great room/kitchen/dining area. The main level also features an expansive outdoor living and master suite. The upper level is congured with a two bedrooms and baths and dramatic balcony overlook into the great room below. OLDSQUAW A unique waterfowl,

the Oldsquaw breeds in the Arctic and winters along both coasts of North America. Most of its time is spent underwater and therefore it requires a low physical prole to maintain efciency in its swimming. The Oldsquaw by MossCreek is designed in the same manner. To maximize efciency on a sloping lot, the Oldsquaw is designed as a main level and lower level home. The resulting low prole of the front elevation gives this home a nice cottage style look and a spacious oor plan. The main level features an expansive great room/dining/kitchen area with the dining set in a special area. A unique exterior door leads to a mud room and laundry area for entering after a day of great outdoor fun. MossCreek E L E M E N T S assures that every 209 product received by our customers meets or exceeds our printed technical specications. The result is very low waste factors, lower installation costs, and a better value for our customers.
Grading: The Key to Waste Reduction

Not all reclaimed wood is suitable for use in the high quality products that we off. As a result, we require each of our employees to successfully pass a rigorous 60 day training program in order to be certied to make grading decisions regarding our products. Every MossCreek Elements Certied Grader must be able to re-write each of our 72 written product specications, successfully pass a eld examination on specie and product identication, and complete an in-house Total Quality Management (TQM) examination. On an average every piece of ooring that we deliver is graded 14 times between the original structure and the end use customer. The result is a consistent product that is guaranteed to match our specications.
Kiln Drying: Ensuring Longevity and Stability

Reclaimed lumber is generally much more stable than new lumber due to the years of expansion and contraction cycles that it has endured during its rst service life as barnsiding, structural industrial beams and timbers, and ooring. We employ the use of a dry kiln to further stabilize the wood prior to the milling process. Kiln drying our lumber helps our Certied Graders to identify potential issues with the structural integrity of the wood such as wind shake, cracking, and areas of increased moisture. By kiln drying all of our wood to 6% moisture content we are able to ensure that every piece lies tight and at, is free of biological activity, and will remain stable for generations to come.
