Compression of median nerve within confines of carpal tunnel

CTS etiology includes:

Inflammation due to repetitive use. Metabolic conditions. Trauma. Tumors. Pregnancy.

CTS symptoms includes:

Numbness. Nocturnal burning pain. Clumsiness dropping objects. Occasionally pain may radiate proximally to shoulder and ear.

CTS symptoms includes:

Diminished sensation in median nerve distribution. Atrophy of thenar muscles. Weakness of abductor pollicis brevis. + Tinels sign. + Phalens / reverse Phalens sign.
