Customize FAQ

Purpose

This is to Customize FAQ page in Storefront UI (WEB and WAP) as well as in Storefront Admin for easy to manage and understanding.

2.0

Proposed Solution

Creating two Links in CMS under A broad CMS section with the facility to manage for FAQ category and FAQ in Store Front admin. The desired FAQ categories and FAQ will be displayed on the UI. Store front Admin Two new Links will be added to the dashboard under A broad CMS section with the facility to manage menu: 1. FAQ categories 2. FAQ 1. FAQ categories: On clicking the FAQ Categories link a Page will open for Searching Categories. The field present on the page will be as follows: a) Search by: This field will be used for searching by FAQ category name. b) Language: This will be a drop-down box for selecting the languages. Default value will be Any There will be a Search and a Reset button present. After clicking on the Search button all the results according Field entries will be Listed in the Grid. On Clicking the Reset button all the field values will be set to default. The grid showing the result will have the following fields i) FAQ category Name ii) Display Order iii) Status (check mark image) iv) Edit v) Delete Two other links will be present in the page namely Add FAQ categories and Export to CSV Add FAQ categories- On Clicking the Link a new page namely Add/Update FAQ Category will open for adding new FAQ category. The fields present will be according to the file(FAQ_mod_general.xls) attached on Jira except Store field. Export to CSV- On clicking this link all the results present in the Grid will be exported to an Excel Sheet. There will be an Edit option for the all FAQ Categories listed on the grid. On clicking the option a page namely Add/Update FAQ Category will open which will have the same fields as that in case of adding a new FAQ Categories. Only the difference will be that the field present will be filled as per the saved FAQ Category.

Store front UI (WEB,WAP) On clicking the FAQ link present in the middle of the footer of the UI, the FAQ Categories which are made visible from the SF Admin will be listed. All the FAQ's that are made visible for the FAQ Categories listed, will also be displayed. The WEB and the the WAP view will be according to the attached document ( FAQ_mod_general.xls ).

Assumptions The estimation has been done based on our understanding of the requirements stated in http://jira.webspiders.com:8080/browse/MOBIBOOKBTWOB-2085 and discussed in mail and chat and the above stated assumptions. Any deviation from the assumptions may lead to re-estimation (increase/ decrease) of the effort. This will be implemented for all supported devices. This will be implemented for the English,Japanese,Chinese,Spanish,Chinese Traditional language. This will be done only for Mobi-Book Storefront.
