It made me confident in my ability to go to university and made the process seem much less daunting. Before this Summer School I wasnt sure about university and didnt know if it was for me. But, after this week, I know that I WILL be attending university. I learned a lot about myself during the week and did things I never imagined I could do!
I had a wonderful time at university; it was stimulating, academically challenging and great fun. The experience broadened my horizons and opened doors for my future career. It is my hope that these Summer Schools will introduce Year 12 students to the unique opportunities that leading universities provide and will encourage them to apply. I am delighted that we have been able to expand the programme this year, and that more universities and more students can be involved. Sir Peter Lampl Chairman, The Sutton Trust
