Obtain the permission for the facility owner with all aspects. Discuss with facility owner and ensure that system shall not effect adversely. Mal- Function/ MalActivity Isolation shall be done one after one based on the guidance given by operation Double Block and Bleed the valves Lock all concerned department representative and put tag for each department. The entire task shall be lead by competent supervisor and the tool box meeting conducted in the work front. All kind of fire prevention method shall be implemented. All flammable and combustible material shall be removed from the area. b. Drain and Bleed the content. Fire/Explosion Adequate No of Fire extinguisher shall be provided. Make available the Water hose line. Remove accordingly all energy line laid along with the Pipe line. Prior to remove the energy line LOTO procedure shall be followed.

Drip tray/ Barrel shall be use to drain the line. The residual content shall be disposed according to recommended Spillage of content National/ International/ client Waste management procedure. Ensure the positive isolation shall be done. No any other person is allowed in the area other than assigned for the task. c. Purging and Blinding Exposure for Toxic Gases Conduct continues gas monitoring. The line shall be purged with inert gas prior to untie the flange. Suitable PPE shall be used ( Dust/ Respiratory Mask) Use suitable PPE including Special PPE demanding potential hazard, eg:- Respirator Mask, Safety Harness, Gum boot, Rubber Gloves, etcPersonnel Injury The Eye wash and emergency shower location / availability shall be ensured. Eye injury Safe manual materiel handling procedure shall be followed while handling the tools and equipment. Back Injury Standard coupling shall be used and Whip arrestor provided for each hose connection.

All lifting task shall be done by the lead of competent lifting supervisor. Ensure the crane and all lifting tackles with valid inspection certificate and possess on demand. Out rigger shall be fully extended with 1 % tolerance. Place the crane firm surface and use out rigger pads. Use tag line to control the movement of suspended load. Deploy trained banks man for safe lifting other than previously assigned rigger, if the locations not visible to operator/ rigger. Barricade the swing area, restrict the personnel entry into it and post required sign boards. Ensure the all ties, bolts are positively removed from the position to avoid catching.
