Numbers of Gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender are continually escalating in our society.

Some of these people are well known and respected and on this civilization. Truly the Filipino people are embracing the evolution of modern society. But it doesnt mean that all Filipinos are whole heartedly embracing the same sex marriage. Our laws are very clear on how it defines the marriage according to family code on article one that marriage is a special contract of permanent union between a man and a woman. Saying that legalizing same sex marriage will give homosexual couples in the Philippines civil right performed, it will raise answers about equality and discrimination but the fact that it raises more questions and the fact that it will jeopardizes our constitution, therefore it will bring commotion among our political as well as religious leaders. The Bible is very clear about procreation as it is stated on Genesis 1:28: And God blessed them. And God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. Marriage is not just any relationship between human beings. It was established by the Creator with its own nature, essential properties and purpose. No ideology can erase from the human spirit the certainty that marriage exists solely between a man and a woman, who by mutual personal gift, proper and exclusive to themselves, be inclined toward the spiritual union of their persons. In this way, they mutually perfect each other, in order to cooperate with God in the procreation and upbringing of new human lives. If the government enacts same-sex marriage, it's giving a message that the country approves of homosexual acts. It is not true, because many recognize that it's immoral. It will likely promote homosexuality, since if one grows in an environment where something is taught to be "ok," he is inclined to consider that as an option.

Many people believe that men and women are so biologically different that they have fundamentally different roles to play in society. We oppose same-sex marriage because we believe that every child deserves a man and a woman as parents, as a "daily living model" of both genders, so that they will, know how to act as a grown man or woman, learn how to interact with the opposite sex, and will have a model of the healthy, stable, heterosexual relationships they "ought" to have. Allowing same-sex couples to marry will not allow all children to have this family structure, and will mean that this family structure is no longer held to be the ideal. It also devalues the original meaning of marriage which is ordained towards raising a family.
