Twisted pair (UTP unshielded twisted pair dan STP shielded twisted pair) There are two types of coaxial cable, which is thick coaxial cable (has a fairly large diameter) and thin coaxial cable (has a smaller diameter). There are 2 type of cable for connecting computer networks, namely a straight cable and crossover cable which each have different functions. Straight cable used to connect the client to the hub / router, while the crossover cable used to connect the client to the client or in some cases are used to connect the HUB to HUB. Practise Task 2 1. Study the material description of the basic concept of networking - LAN is well. Make a summary of the material, discuss with your friends! 2. Take UTP cable. Peel the end of the cable 4. Connect the RJ-45 connectors on the cable you have peeled! (see references in the module) 5. Create a straigt connection cable to connect your computer to the HUB! (See reference to the module) 6.
