Introduction:
A value-added service (VAS) is popular as a telecommunications industry term for non-core services, or in short, all services beyond standard voice calls and fax transmissions. However, it can be used in any service industry, for services available at little or no cost, to promote their primary business. In the telecommunication industry, value-added services add value to the standard service offering, spurring the subscriber to use their phone more and allowing the operator to drive up their ARPU. In the present scenario,there are many telecom companies in india which provide VAS, Some of them are described below: AIRTEL: VODAFONE: IDEA: RELIANCE: Simply suvidha Call divert CLIP(caller line identification presentation) Call waiting Back up contacts Voice mail News updates Any time information service Idea fresh Ringtones, picture sms, etc. Entertainment (HT, sports, music etc.) Vodafone apps store Health News and finance Caller management service Airtel talkies Hellotunes Friends chat Cricket updates Voice SMS Missedcall alerts

BSNL: Tunes and downloads(apps, music service, hello tc, etc) Entertainment (mobile radio, video sms, trivia, etc) News and updates Share and stocks Call management service

The VAS have great impact on consumers in choosing the operator. 47% of people use AIRTEL because of itz vast services which are easy to use and friendly customer care. 23% of people use BSNL because of its network availability and cheap services. 15% of people use VODAFONE, 10% of people use RELIANCE these numbers are less because there services are expensive compared to other brands.5% of people use other brands which are new in market.

Objective: Is to know the value added services provided by different telecom companies. Is to know the affect of telecom companies on consumrers. Is to know the best choice among the consumer in choosing the operator.

Assumption: The most trusted brand is AIRTEL because of its services and customer care support. The telecom companies are increasing day by day due to these services. The consumer choose the operator which gives moreVAS.

Research Methodology:
Primary Data Primary Data will be collected by using survey method;

with the help closed end questionnaire. Sample size 100 people Sample design People of all segments who are using mobile phones of different telecom companies. Area of Research Jodhpur

Secondary data These sources contain data, which have been collected and compiled for detailed study of the topic. The secondary data was collected from reports, articles, websites and other sources.
