Sexual Health Education Programs for those with Physical Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, and Chronic Illnesses
The sexual needs and desires of people with disabilities have long been ignored. If you are tired of this integral aspect of human life being ignored or impaired in your life, join us for a sexual health education program designed for those with disabilities. We will be offering helpful information for you regarding Is your sexual esteem low because you have a disability? Have your sexual needs been imposed upon by a disability? Do you have questions surrounding your sexuality and disability? Were you recently diagnosed with a chronic illness leaving you with questions about what will happen with your sex life? sexuality in a respectful and positive environment.

This education session will include
information on how to protect oneself from abuse and the basics of reproduction. It will also include information on how to engage in safe sexual behaviors. The Sexual rights of people with disabilities will also be discussed.

Chronic Illness

A sex therapist that specializes in


people with physical disabilities will join us to speak on sexuality. She uses a holistic approach to build selfesteem and educate on important ways to achieve full and satisfying sex lives. She will also be available after

Chronic illnesses such as diabetes,


cardiovascular disease, or arthritis are becoming increasingly prevalent in America. These disease, or the medications or treatment given, may affect ones sexual desires and capabilities. This session will give information regarding how to increase sexual-esteem, and how to work around a chronic illness to help achieve a happy and healthy sex life.
