REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE:

Norman Wright(2005), in his study of the Cyberbullying, found out that cyberbullying is a crime that was held in via internet. It is also a kind of prank to other people or victims. The findings of his study revealed that in cyberbullying, the victims are very exposed to media or internet while face to face bullying was just the people around them that can only see. He said that it's not just the presence of the emotions that bothers them, it's their intensity. He added that during a trauma, they may experience many kinds of emotions, and perhaps some feelings you've never experienced before and this trauma could be cured by the assistance of their family and friends. According to Alex (2012,November,13).How to Stop Bullying.Phil.Star, p.D4, bullying has actually evolved into a social behavior that is the product of race-to-the-top-of-the-social-ladder mentality. To overcome bullying, tolerance and respect should be norm and everyone should realize that it is not only noble, but that it is a basic expectation of everybody to be sensitive to others' feelings, especially those who do not act and behave like the majority. According to Queena N. Lee-Chua (2012,October, 10).Dealing with Bullying in School. Phil. Daily Inquirer, p.Z3, bullying is a serious matter that results in hurt feelings or broken friendships, even physical injury and death. She added that if bullying cannot be controlled by authorities, then changing schools would be the most sensible opinion. Vanessa Rogers(2010), in her study of Cyberbullying, cyberbullying is behind emotional rather than physical threats. She found out that cyberbullying starts with a joke and it can take place at any time. She also added that cyberbullying should be covered by anti-bullying policies in school.

INTRODUCTION:
We have probably heard the old saying about sticks and stones, the message being that words can never hurt you. But just how true is this? While it is certainly true that physical bullying is unaccepatable behaviour, cyberbullying can just as frightening, leaving behing emotional rather than physical scars. Cyberbullying is behind emotional rather than physical threats. Cyberbullying starts with a joke. It can take place at any time. Cyberbullying should be covered by anti-bullying policies in schools. Eventhough it is not a crime, it still involves emotional threats. Cyberbulling differs from face to face bullying because it keeps distance between bullies and their victims. This affords the bully a level of anonymity and a perceived sense of security that convinces them they wont get caught. It also makes it easier to 'forget' what they've done and, as they don't see the harm caused, any feelings of guilt or empathy are minimized. Not knowing the identity of the bully can make the victim distrustful of many people. (Vanessa Rogers , 2010) Cyberbullying actually is a crime that was held in via internet. It is also a kind of prank to other people or victims. Sometimes they are experiencing face to face bullying but for others cyberbullying is much worse than face to face bullying. In cyberbullying, the victims are very expose to the media or internet while face to face bullying was just the people around them that can only see. Eventually, if the victims experience that kind of crime, the victims eventually will have a trauma. During a trauma, they may experience many kinds of emotions, and perhaps some feelings they've never experienced before. It's not just the presence of the emotions that bothers them, it's their intensity. Some of them feel unbearable, even toxic. But with that trauma they can recover if they will be assisted by their family, friends, etc..All of them can be their nurse or doctor to cure them. By the help of their loved ones, they can survive that circumstances.(Norman Wright, 2005) Bullying is a form of harrasment or damage in the reputation of a person. It decreases one's esteem and confidence. There are many forms of bullying; it could be a face to face or cyber bullying. In a face to face bullying, a person makes use of intrapersonal communication, straight to the point of a person. On the other side, cyber bullying makes use of information and communication technologies to support deliberately, repeated, and hostile behaviour by an individual or group in which it intends to harm others. It is perpetrated through cyber stalking, denigration, and impersonation. Bullying lies within the range of normal, social behavior encouraged by most students. They are often motivated by anger, revenge or frustation. Cyber bullying is worse than face to face bullying. (Bill Rogers, 2000)
