Dear Reader,
The enclosed bonus material for the book SAP Query ReportingPractical Guide (SAP PRESS 2011) contains 100 practical queries that you can import directly into your system. These include queries from the following enterprise areas: Basis Administration (BC) Sales and Distribution (SD) Production (PP) Materials Management (MM) Financial Accounting (FI) Controlling (CO) Other modules

Each query has two identically named documents. First, the query itself is provided in .txt format. Second, for each query, there is a PDF file that documents each query with specific screenshots. The PDF file contains the following information: The query name Analysis results from the query The selection screen from the query Selected tables in the InfoSet Tables inserted into the InfoSet A comment in relation to special features, if necessary

All of the queries were created on an SAP ECC system (Release 6.o). You can import the queries into your SAP system as follows: Use Transaction SQ03 to create the user group "ZLEX". Then, assign the relevant user and call Transaction SQ02. In the menu under ENVIRONMENT/WORK AREA, change the work area, if necessary. We recommend that you select the standard work area. Select the ENVIRONMENT/TRANSPORTS menu, deactivate TEST RUN, and choose UPLOAD. Press F8 or choose EXECUTE. Then, specify the file path. Here are the steps in detail: 1. Transaction SQ03, create the user group "ZLEX" If necessary, change the work area. We recommend that you use the standard work area because you can perform an upload here without the involvement of the SAP transport system (that is, without having to create a transport request).
