INTRODUCTION

This document is compiled the operation & maintenance manuals and related documents/drawings for Turbine Island and common facilities of Lot2 Scope. As introduction, this section shows the definition of Employer and sub-contractor, plant configuration and summary of contents.

1. Employer and Sub-contractor Employer; Sumitomo Corporation, a corporation organized under the laws of Japan with its registered office at 1-8-11, Harumi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Sumitomo Corporation is the Employer of the construction of Tanjung Jati B Unit 3&4 located at DESA TABANAN, KEMBANG, JEPARA JAWA TENGHA INDONESIA.

Sub-contractor; Tanjung Jati B Unit 3&4 project is shared 6 sub-contractors (Lots). One of Lots, Toshiba Corporation (Lot2) is supplier of Turbine Island and Common facilities, a company organized under the laws of Japan with its registered office at 1-1-1 Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Toshiba is a leading Turbine and Generator manufactures respectively and has many experiences in supplying similar and higher rating equipments in the past. Toshiba as a Sub-Contactor is providing the completed design, engineering, procurement, and commissioning for Turbine Island and common facilities.

2. Plant Configuration The plant utilizes a high availability, high efficiency steam-cycle power process with the total capacity of 1,320 MWel, consisting of two identical units of 660 MWel, each, fired with coal. The power generation block is based on a reheat rankine sub critical steam cycle. Each 660 MWel, unit comprises of one (1) tandem compounded single reheat, condensing, 50Hz steam turbine & Generator unit together with auxiliaries and one (1) pulverized coal fired, natural circulation, balanced draft, single reheat boiler unit together with auxiliaries. The turbine and its auxiliaries, the boiler and its auxiliaries are controlled by the Boiler Management (BMS)/Boiler Sequence Control (BSQ)/BPS (Boiler Protection) and the Turbine Sequence control (TSQ)/Main Turbine Digital Electrohydraulic Control (MT DEHC)/Boiler Feedwater pump Turbine Digital Control (BFPT DEHC)/Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) respectively. The overall integrated combined control and supervision are from the Plant Automation System (PAS) and the Unit Coordination Control (UCS) of the DCS. DCS also controls and monitors the various BOP systems through the respective local control station (PLC) in addition to the power block. Lot2 provides with the design, manufacturing and supply of the reheat stem turbine generator units with their associated condensate and water systems, common facilities, electrical systems, instrumentation and control systems, and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
