1. Pap smear is a simple test for reproductive health specifically the cervix. (Ang pap smear ay isang simpleng pagsusuri upang malaman kung malusog ang inyong pwerta) 2. All women should undergo pap smear screening. ( Lahat ng babae ay dapat sumailalim sa pap smear) 3. Early detection of cancer cells may reduce the risk of having cervical cancer (Ang maagang deteksyon ng selyula ng kanser ay makakabawas sa panganib ng pagkakaroon ng sakit na kanser sa kuwelyo ng matris.) 4. There is still a limitation on the use of papsmear. (Mayroong limitasyon ang pagsusuri) 5. Women who undergone pap smear screening should take other test to be more assure about the possible result of the initial test. ( Ang mga babae na sumasailalim sa pap smear ay kailangang sumailalim sa iba pang pag-susuri upang makasiguro posibleng resulta ng naunang pagsusuri) 6. Only women aged between 18 to 70 who are sexually active or had been sexually active should take the test. ( Lahat ng babaeng nasa pagitan 18 at 70 taong gulang na nakaranas ng pakikipagtalik at patuloy na nakakaranas makipagtalik ay kailangang mag pa-Papsmear) 7. A small instrument called a speculum will be inserted into the vagina by the doctor or nurse to get a clear view of the cervix ( neck of the womb). ( Ang doctor o nars ay nagpapasok ng espekulum sa pwerta upang makita ang kuwelyo ng matris) 8. The nurse or doctor collect some cells from the cervix and smear them onto a glass slide. (Ang doctor at nars ay kukuha ng sample ng mga selyula mula sa loob at labas ng kwelyo ng matris at ilalagay sa glass slide. ) 9. A woman who is 40 years old or above should undergo papsmear every year. ( Ang isang babae na 40 taong gulang o pataas ay dapat sumailalim sa pagsusuri isang beses sa isang taon) 10. A woman should undergo papsmear one week after menstruation and one week without sexual intercourse. (Kinakailangang isang lingo pagkatapos ng regla at isang linggong hindi nakikipagtalik ang magpapapsmear.
